8.7.6. Audi Matrix LED Headlights/HD Matrix LED Headlights
For the Audi Matrix LED headlights, adjusting screws are no longer available for setting the high beam distribution. The core of the Matrix LED headlight is the glare-free high beam, implemented with a mechanism-free system. Oncoming traffic or preceding vehicles are not blinded by high beam lights that are always on. A camera detects oncoming and preceding vehicles and omits them from the high beam distribution by dimming or switching off individual LEDs from the high beam lighting. Once a vehicle is no longer located in the line of sight of the driver, then the system switches the full beam back on again.
