USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

CARING FOR YOUR TRUE GLOW™ HEATED EYELASH CURLER

1. Clean the machine with a wet cloth or tissue if dirt develops on the unit after use.
2. Do not wash the unit with water.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaners for cleaning.
4. Do not put unit in dishwasher for cleaning.
5. When storing the heated eyelash curler, use the protective cover. This will prevent the heater from deforming.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

1. Close supervision is required when this product is used on, by or near children or people with certain disabilities.
2. Use product only for its intended use as described in this instruction booklet. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Keep the unit away from heated surfaces.
4. Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
5. Do not use outdoors or where oxygen is being administered.
6. Never operate if the product is damaged.
7. Not for use by children.

ATTENTION

1. If the heater is damaged, please stop using for your safety.
2. Remove battery if the product will not be used for an extended period.
3. There are no user-serviceable parts. If for any reason the unit does not function satisfactorily, return it to place of purchase. No repairs should be attempted by the consumer.

The True Glow™ Heated Eyelash Curler is intended to help you lift and style your lashes. The True Glow™ Heated Eyelash Curler is not a medical device and is not intended to be used to treat any medical conditions or to be used on false eyelashes.

• If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition or if you think you have very sensitive skin, please consult your physician before use.
• We recommend not sharing the Heated Eyelash Curler; each user should have their own Heated Eyelash Curler.
• Do not use with false eyelashes. Use the True Glow™ Heated Eyelash Curler prior to applying mascara.
• If you experience any pain or discomfort during use, stop using and consult your physician.
• Do not apply pressure when using the Heated Eyelash Curler.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING BATTERIES

1. Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
2. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
3. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
4. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
5. Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time.
6. Remove used batteries promptly.
7. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.

BATTERY DISPOSAL
Batteries contain various materials that must be recycled and disposed of properly. Do not dispose of in the municipal waste system.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

(U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center listed on back that is nearest you, together with your purchase receipt and $3.00 for postage and handling. California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.

HOW TO INSTALL BATTERY

NOTE: The True Glow™ Heated Eyelash Curler operates on 1 AAA battery (not included).

1. Remove the battery cover until the battery door is released.
2. Install 1 AAA battery (not included) as per the markings in the battery compartment.
3. Replace the cover until the battery door is firmly closed.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE HEATED EYELASH CURLER

1. Remove the cap.
2. Slide ON/OFF switch up to preheat the curler. The temperature sensitive indicator will change color from blue to white when the curler is ready to use.
3. Carefully place the heating comb near the base of your lashes so that the curved tip fits the contour of your lashes, but not touching your eyelid. Hold the heating comb slightly upward for 8–10 seconds, then slowly slide it to the tips of your lashes. Repeat as needed to increase curl.
4. Follow with a coat of mascara if desired.
5. When finished, slide the switch down to turn off.

1. Curl your eyelashes with this Heated Eyelash Curler.
2. Finish your look with a coat of mascara. Apply mascara by moving the brush back and forth at the base of your eyelashes, then slide up to the tips.
