Product Usage Instructions

Connecting and Using Bluetooth

  1. Initiate a device search to pair with the amplifier. The speaker will be displayed as MPRO240 or MPRO480.
  2. Press the play button on the device to start audio playback.

Recording and Playing an Alert Message
The amplifiers have an internal memory for recording and playing back alert messages. Follow these steps:

  1. To record:
    • Close and hold the REC dry contact to start recording (maximum 60 seconds).
    • You can record from a USB/Bluetooth/SD/line or microphone source.
    • Open the REC contact to stop recording.
  2. To play:
    • Close and hold the PLAY dry contact to start playback.
    • Open the PLAY contact to stop playback.

  2. MASTER + ZONES (1 to 6) speaker output (COM – 4ohms – 70V – 100V) in Euroblock
    Please note:

    • Be sure to respect the total power available on the outputs, otherwise the amplifier may be damaged. MPA-240Z > 240W MAX on total of all outputs
    • MPA-480Z > 480W MAX on total of all outputs

      Never connect low-impedance loudspeakers with 4 ohms and 70V / 100V simultaneously.
  3. Siren activation on input 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 via dry contact + level adjustment.
    Example: if a siren is connected to the dry contact of input 2, set the CHIME 2 switch to ON and adjust the volume level.

  4. Activate voice priority on input 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 + level control

  5. RCA unbalanced line input + RCA line output (REC)

  7. LINE or MIC input selector. Center PH position activates +48V phantom power on microphone.

  8. FM radio antenna / MEDIA player line output / microphone connection (optional)

  9. Dry contact for switch connection or circuit-breaker to broadcast warning message

  10. Alert message broadcast input contacts on selected zone (1 to 6) or on all zones.

    • These amplifiers feature an emergency message broadcast channel with priority. This message can be broadcast to a selected zone by bypass contact. When the message is broadcast via the EMC input, all other inputs are automatically muted.

REMOTE CONTROL

CONNECTING AND USING BLUETOOTH

  • Switch on the device and press the MENU button (4) on the device to select the BLUETOOTH ”BLUE” function, and the device switches to search mode.
  • Activate Bluetooth on the external device to be synchronized.
  • Start the device search. The speaker is displayed as “MPRO240 or MPRO480”.
  • Select it and enter the password “0000” if necessary.
  • Press the play button on the device to start playback.
  • Select titles with the NEXT and PREV keys, and Volume with the rotary knob (9), making sure that the volume of the Bluetooth source (cell phone, tablet) is active.

RECORD and PLAY an alert message.

  • The MPA240Z and MPA480Z amplifiers feature an internal memory for recording and playing back simple alert messages of up to 60 seconds.
  • This message must be recorded via the dry contact on the rear panel (9).

To record :

  • Close and hold REC dry contact to start recording (max 60 sec)
  • A USB / Bluetooth / SD / line or microphone source can be recorded. Open REC contact to stop recording

To read :

  • Close and hold the PLAY dry contact to start playback.
  • Open the PLAY contact to stop playback.
