The intended use of this appliance is explained in this manual. The use of accessories other than those recommended in this manual may present a risk of personal injury.

Always check the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  • If the supply cord is damaged it must only be repaired or replaced by a suitably qualified person.
  • DO NOT position appliance where it can be reached by children.
  • Extra caution is necessary when used near children or when left understand.
  • The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of knowledge and experience if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance by children must not be carried out without supervision.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continually supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch the appliance on/off provided it has been installed in its intended normal operational position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate, or clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance of the appliance.
  • This appliance is for household use only and not commercial or industrial use.
  • Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
  • If the product or its supply cord is damaged do not use and consult a qualified person for repair or dispose of responsibly.
  • Always unplug the appliance after use.
  • Store the appliance out of reach of children when not in use.
  • Store in a clean dry storage area when no tin use.
  • Always ensure any vents or outlets are clear from blockages which may impact on the products function or safe use.
  • Always unplug this product from the mains by pulling on the plug not the power cable.
  • Always unplug before cleaning.
  • Only use a soft cloth with mild soapy water to clean this product. Do not submerge this product in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use

BEFORE CONNECTING TO POWER

  • Before connecting to the power, please check whether the type of supply and the mains voltage match with the details given on the rating label on the appliance.
  • Using for the first time: Rip off all wrapping paper and plastic bags. Clean the fittings. (Refer to Cleaning Method).

SAFETY GUIDANCE

  • Special care needs to be taken when preparing food for a baby, an elderly or a patient. Before using the machine, you should be sure that the accessories have been completely sterilized correctly.

  • Do not touch the blending blade when connecting to power.

  • Keep your fingers, hair, clothes, and other objects away from the machine whilst the power is on.

  • Pull the plug out when changing fittings or after use.

  • Do not mix hot oil or any other oily ingredients.

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  • Do not dip the body into water or get the cable wet which may result in\ an electronic shock. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Do not put the cable on a hot surface or hang if from a table/surface.
    Hanging it from a surface may result in the wire being accidentally pulled and the blender falling.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture or a similar qualified person to avoid any hazards.

  • Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

  • Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

  • Do not operate the blender without food.

  • Do not operate the machine for longer than 20 seconds when the blender is unloaded.

  • Always disconnect the blender from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

KNOW YOUR BLENDER

  1. Lid
  2. Measured cup
  3. Jar
  4. Motor unit
  5. Speed button (Pulse,O, l,2,3,4)
  6. Mill

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BLENDER

  • Insert the jar onto the motor unit as Step l .
    The Jar should be placed down well. If not, 2 the blender will not work.

  • Wash fruit/ vegetables first and slice into small pieces – about 2 x 2cm.

  • Place the sliced fruit/ vegetables into the Jar.

  • Before blending, add the desired level of water or liquid mixture in to the jar. Make sure not to exceed the max fill line.
    (NOTE: The Blender Needs Liquid adding to blend food or ice)

  • Fit the lid firmly into the jar (as Step 2)

  • Fit the measure cup into the lid firmly (as Step 3)

  • Plug the appliance in and then turn the speed button to l,2,3 or 4 position. For Ice (with liquid), it is suggested to use Pulse speed.

  • Each blending session cannot exceed 2 minutes.

  • Warning:Cool down the appliance for 20 minutes before the next operation in case the motor overheats.

  • After blending, please turn the speed button to the O position. Wait for the motor to stop and then move the jar.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COFFEE/NUT GRINDER

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COFFEE

  • Put the ingredients into the cup.
  • Place the seal ring on the cup as in Step l .
  • Place the blade set on the seal ring as Step 2.
  • Turn the blade base clockwise to lock into the cup as Step 3. 15·
  • Make sure the blade base is well locked, if not, the product will notwork.
  • Insert the assembled mill into the Housing as step 4
  • Plug in, then use one hand to press down the mill as in step 5 and one hand to choose the speed/control the power.
  • Only remove your hand from the mill once the desired out come is achieved. If you remove it mid blending, the mill may possibly jump up and cause the product to malfunction.
  • It is suggested to use the grinder on the pulse or max speed settings.
  • You cannot put more than 50 go fbeans each time.
  • Each blending session cannot exceed 30 seconds.
  • Allow the appliance to cool for 20 minutes before then ext operation to prevent the motor from overheating.
  • After milling, please turn the speed button to the O position. Wait for the= motor to stop before moving the jar.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • Before cleaning remove the power cord from the socket.
  • Never immerse the housing with motor into water!
  • Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.
  • Only a damp rinsing cloth should be used to clean the outside of the housing.
  • Components that have come into contact with food may be cleaned in soapy water.
  • Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling or using the appliance.
  • When not in use for a long time, place the blender in a box in a cool dry place, away from direct heat and moist environments.

PLUG

  • This appliance has been fitted with a BS UK compliant plug which should not be replaced or removed.
  • The plug is fitted with a UK compliant fuse link which is suitable for this type of appliance and should only be replaced byaf use link of the same rating.
  • If access to the fuse link is only possible by removing the plug cover this must only be done by a suitably qualified person.
  • If the plug or the mains cable of this appliance is damaged do not use and dispose of the appliance responsibly
  • This appliance is a Class 2 appliance protected by double and reinforced insulation and does not require earthing. Class 2 appliances are indicated by this symbol marked on the appliance rating plate.
