70mai External TPMS Sensor
User Manual
Please read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it in a safe place.
Thank you for purchasing 70mai External TPMS Sensor. This product has to be used with 70mai smart main device, e.g. smart dash cams.
After binding it to the 70mai app and installing it on the tires, the product can monitor the pressure and temperature inside the tires in real time and send the data collected to the smart main device. When the tire pressure or temperature exceeds the threshold value, the smart main device will issue an alert.
Precautions
- This product has to be used with 70mai smart main device, e.g. smart dash cams.
- It is recommended to bind the sensor ID in the 70mai app before installing the sensors on the tires.
- This product relies on the smart main device to monitor the tire pressure. If the smart main device is turned off, the sensors cannot detect the pressure or temperature of the tires and the smart main device cannot give any alert.
- Injecting certain chemicals (such as tire sealant, etc.) into the tire will cause damage to the sensor.
- This product cannot prevent tire leaks or blowouts. Please remember to perform maintenance on your car and check your tires regularly.

- Go to the binding sensor page and follow the on-screen instructions to add the sensor ID of the left front wheel, right front wheel, left rear wheel and right rear wheel sensors in order.
- After adding, according to the page prompts, connect the smart main device’s Wi-Fi to complete the sensor binding.
- After successful binding, the smart main device can receive the data from sensor.
Note: If you have already installed the sensors onto the tires before you try to bind them, follow Step 1 and 2 first. Go to the binding sensor page and select automatic identification. Follow the on-screen instructions and the device will automatically read and add the sensor IDs.
-

RF: right front wheel
RR: right rear wheel
Sensor installation
1. Remove the tire valve caps.
2. Screw the locknut onto the nozzle until it reaches the bottom of the thread.
3. Install the sensors onto the tires based on their marking. When installing, hold the anti-slip gear at the base of the sensor. Screw the sensor onto the nozzle thread and tighten it.
Note: Do not hold the case when tightening the sensor. The position indicator
of the case and base should not be misaligned, otherwise it may cause the case
to be loosened and the sensor to leak air.
4. Use a wrench to turn the locknut in counterclockwise direction until it is tightly pressing on the sensor.
5. Check the nozzle for sign of air leakage. If there is any leakage, clean the nozzle and tighten all the parts again.
6. Paste the tire pressure warning sticker on the wheel hub corresponding to the nozzle position.
Battery replacement
1. Use a wrench to secure the base. Loosen the case by turning it counterclockwise until it is separately from the base.
2. Push out the old battery from the side and push the new battery into the battery compartment.
Note: Please use a battery with a wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 80°C). (Model CR1632)
3. Use a wrench to secure the base and tighten the case by turning it clockwise.
4. Tighten until the positioning points of the case and the base overlap, the housing has been screwed into position and the battery replacement is done.
