READ THIS MANUAL BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW MAY RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, AND/OR INJURY
- The intended use of this appliance is explained in this manual. The use of accessories other than those recommended in this manual may present a risk of personal injury.
- Always check the mains voltage corresponding to the voltage on the retina late.
- Ensure that the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged in is in accordance with the rating plate found on the base of the appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance in the presence of any gases or combustible liquids.
- Do not operate in damp or humid conditions e.g. laundry room/shower/bathroom, near to a swimming pool or outdoors.
- Check the power cord and plug regularly for any signs of damage. If the cord or the plug is damaged they must be replaced by a qualified electrician or a service repair centre.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. If the unit has been damaged take the unit for examination and/or repair by a suitably qualified person.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only. The supplier cannot be held responsible for injury or damage if the appliance has been used for anything other than its intended use.
- Young children should be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Incorrect operation and use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- Do not immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water or any other liquid for any reason.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Ensure that the cord is not in a position where it can be pulled or tripped over accidentally.
- Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces and do not place the cord near hot gas or electric burners or in a heated oven.
- The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended.
- Always operate this appliance on a smooth, even, and stable surface. Do not place the appliance on a hot surface.
- Always switch the appliance off and unplug from the socket when not in use. Do not pull on the cord to remove the plug of the appliance from the electrical socket. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
- Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.
- The stainless steel plate will be hot during and after use – DO NOT TOUCH WITH BARE HANDS as there is a risk of scalding or burning.
OPERATING THE EGG COOKER BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove the appliance from the packaging and check for signs of any damage.
- Before first use, wash the accessories (shelf/bowl/measuring cup) with warm soapy water and dry.
BOILING EGGS: SOFT/ MEDIUM /HARD
- Ensure the egg cooker is switched off before plugging into your mains power connection.
- Fill the measuring cup to the appropriate line with cold water and pour onto hot plate. A measuring cup is marked hard, medium, soft.
- Place the egg cooking rack onto the heating plate. The side handles should be facing upwards.
- Pierce the larger end of each egg using the pierce pin on the bottom of the measuring cup.
- Place an egg in each allocated spot on the egg cooking rack
- Make sure the holes pierced in the eggs are pointing upwards. Do not let the eggs touch the heating plate
- Place the lid on top of the unit and push the Power Button to turn on. The indicator light will come on.
- When the egg cooker buzzer sounds the eggs will be cooked. The actual cooking time depends on the number of eggs and desired type of egg.(See cooking time chart.)
- When cooking is complete push the ON/OFF button to silence the buzzer and turn the egg cooker off.
- Remove eggs immediately and rinse with cold water to prevent overcooking and aid peeling.

Please note boiling times may vary relevant to the size of egg used.
USING THE EGG PIERCER (LOCATED ON THE BASE OF THE MEASURING CUP)
- In order to avoid cracking the eggs it is best to pierce a small hole in the larger end of the egg. Then place the smaller end of the egg onto the egg tray shelf, repeat for all the eggs you are cooking then place the egg tray shelf onto the heating plate. Replace the lid on top of the egg tray shelf. DO NOT PLACE THE EGG TRAY SHELF OR POACHER TRAY DIRECTLY ONTO THE HEATING PLATE!
POACHED EGGS:
- Fill the measuring cup to the medium line with water and pour onto a stainless steel plate.
- Lightly butter or spray vegetable oil on the poaching tray.
- Break one egg for each poaching section.
- Place the egg cooking rack over the heating plate.
- Place the poaching tray on onto the egg cooking rack. Caution: Do not place the poaching tray or omelet tray directly onto the heating plate!
- Place lid on top of the unit then presses the Power Button to turn on. The indicator light will come on.
- When the buzzer sounds the eggs will be ready.
- When cooking is complete push the ON/OFF button to silence the buzzer and turn the egg cooker off.
OMELETTES
- Fill the measuring cup to the hard line with cold water and pour it onto the stainless steel heating plate.
- Lightly butter or spray vegetable oil on the poaching tray.
- Break up to 3 eggs in a separate bowl and mix. Add water to desired omelet consistency. Pour mixture into omelet tray. If desired you can add vegetables, chicken or vegetables at this stage.
- Place the egg cooking rack over the heating plate. Place the omelet tray onto the cooking rack. Caution: Do not place the poaching tray or omelet tray directly onto the heating plate!
- Place lid on top of the unit and press the Power Button to turn on. The indicator light will come on.
- When the buzzer sounds the omelet will be ready.
- When cooking is complete push the ON/OFF button to silence the buzzer and turn the egg cooker off.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before deaning.
- The egg tray and poacher tray can be washed in warm soapy water and dried. Wipe down the stainless steel plate and dry. The heating plate can only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason.
- When there is excessive discoloration of the heating plate you can use household vinegar to clean. Dilute 1 part vinegar with 10 parts warm water and pour over the heating plate (taking care not to overflow or drip over the edges). Allow to soak for a while then pour away. Rinse carefully with plain warm water (again do not allow it to overflow) and dry with a towel.
PLUG:
- This appliance has been fitted with a BS UK-compliant plug which should not be replaced or removed.
- The plug is fitted with UK compliant fuse link which is suitable for this type of appliance and should only be replaced by a fuse link of the same rating.
- If access to the fuse link is only possible by removing the plug cover this must only be done by a suitably qualified person.
- If the plug or the mains cable of this appliance is damaged do not use and dispose of the appliance responsibly.
- This appliance is earthed.
