PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PAIRING WITH A USB RECEIVER

  • NOTE: Before the first time use charge your keyboard for at least 3 hours.
  • Flip the keyboard over to its backside and remove the USB Receiver from its secured compartment.
  • Turn on the Keyboard by sliding the On/Off Switch to the “On’ position.
  • Click on the 2.4 GHz button in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
  • The 2.4 GHz indicator light will flash white.
  • Plug the USB receiver into your device.

PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH

  • NOTE: Before the first time use charge your keyboard for at least 3 hours.
  • Turn on the Keyboard by sliding the On/Off Switch to the “On” position.
  • Choose the Bluetooth connection you’d like to set: BT1 or BT2, and press its button in the top right corner of the keyboard.
  • The corresponding indicator light for the Bluetooth connection you pressed will flash.
  • Press and hold the Bluetooth connection button you want to set up (BT1 or BT2) for 3-5 seconds until its indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates that your chosen connection is now in Pairing Mode.
  • Navigate to your device’s Bluetooth Settings.
  • Follow your device’s pairing instructions to discover available Bluetooth connections.
  • The keyboard will show up under the name “BT3.0 Keyboard” or “BT5.0 KB”.
  • Select either of these to complete the pairing process.

HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN DEVICES

  • Follow the instructions in the PAIRING WITH USB RECEIVER or PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH sections to set up connections to more than one device.

To switch to USB RECEIVER device:

  • Press the 2.4 GHz button in the top right corner.
  • The 2.4 GHz indicator light will flash.
  • The keyboard will work with a device that has the USB Receiver plugged into it.

To switch to Bluetooth device number 1:

  • Press the BT1 button.
  • The BT1 indicator light will flash.
  • A keyboard will work with the device that was set up in connection BT1.

To switch to Bluetooth device number 2:

  • Press the BT2 button.
  • The BT2 indicator light will flash.
  • A keyboard will work with the device that was set up in connection BT2.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • If your device’s Bluetooth settings do not show the keyboard in the list of available devices when using BT1, switch to BT2 and try again. If it doesn’t show up in BT2, switch to BT1 and try again.
  • If the KB250 stops responding with a paired device, reset the connection between the device and the KB250 like so.

Reset USB Receiver

  • Toggle the On/Off Switch to the “Off” position, unplug the USB Receiver, and wait at least 10 seconds.
  • Follow the instructions in the PAIRING WITH USB RECEIVER section of this manual.

Reset BT1 or BT2 Bluetooth Connection

  • Toggle the On/Off Switch to the “Off” position and wait at least 10 seconds.
  • Follow the instructions in the PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH section of this manual.

CLEANING & MAINTEANCE

  • ALWAYS TURN OFF THE KEYBOARD BY SLIDING THE ON/OFF SWITCH TO THE “OFF” POSITION BEFORE PERFORMING CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE.
  • When using compressed air or an air blower to remove dust or debris be sure to angle the flow of air rather than pointing it straight down to help dust and debris exit the keyboard instead of being pushed further into it.
  • Using a vacuum cleaner equipped with a slender suction nozzle and/or a soft-bristled brush could help dislodge dust or debris.
  • If using a keyboard cleaning liquid, be sure to spray an appropriate amount and only spray the liquid onto a cleaning cloth, not onto the keyboard directly.
  • Be careful to to excessively wet the keyboard as this may cause liquid to seep into its interior.
