- ALWAYS TURN OFF THE KEYBOARD BY SLIDING THE ON/OFF SWITCH TO THE “OFF” POSITION BEFORE PERFORMING CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE.
- When using compressed air or an air blower to remove dust or debris be sure to angle the flow of air rather than pointing it straight down to help dust and debris exit the keyboard instead of being pushed further into it.
- Using a vacuum cleaner equipped with a slender suction nozzle and/or a soft-bristled brush could help dislodge dust or debris.
- If using a keyboard cleaning liquid, be sure to spray an appropriate amount and only spray the liquid onto a cleaning cloth, not onto the keyboard directly.
- Be careful to to excessively wet the keyboard as this may cause liquid to seep into its interior.
