INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Caution
Read all the instructions provided before installation// Disconnect the ground
connection from the battery to avoid accidental short circuits before
connecting electrical wires// Only operate under the specified voltages (DC
9-32V) // Do not touch the lamp or the casing for at least 30 minutes after
turning the light off to avoid heat injury. Keep the heat-sink clean and
exposed to maintain air flow// Do not stare directly into the light to avoid
eye injury// Use only soap and water for cleaning. Do not use pressure washer
for cleaning// Dispose the unit through your local recycling authorities//
THE DEFAULT CONNECTION OF THE LIGHT IS INDENTED FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY!
REFER TO THE WIRING SECTION FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Wiring
- Ensure that the working voltage is correct and choose the corresponding relays (DC12V/24V)
- Connect the unit using a Purelux-wiring harness (sold separately)
- Remove any protective films from the lamp before operating
- Turn on the light to test the connection. If the light is not working as expected, please refer the instructions
Wire description
DT-Plug / Red + Black: Driving light connection
White: Position light (White)
Yellow: Position light (Amber)
MOUNTING
Install the necessary brackets on the light (end or bottom brackets) and mount
the light to the vehicle. Secure the mounting!
Powerboost and ECE R149-mode activation
Turn on the light for two seconds, then turn off and on the light 3 times in
five seconds and the power mode changes. If the light is on, first turn it off
for five seconds before you can change the power mode again. The light has a
memory and it works in the selected power mode until the next time the power
mode is changed.
