Product Usage Instructions

Meet NutriVue
The NutriVue feeder features various components including the lid, food bucket, micro SD slot, Wi-Fi indicator LED, food status LED, camera, food outlet, desiccant cabinet, and more.

Lid Closing
Lock the lid according to the marked direction to ensure proper closure.

Manual Feeding
Short press the manual feeding button to dispense food instantly. The default quantity is one portion, which can be customized through the app.

Micro SD Card Usage
Insert a Micro SD card for continuous recording or motion detection. Daily activities can be recorded for future reference.

App Connectivity
Download the Petoneer app and connect the feeder to your Wi-Fi network to schedule feeding times and monitor your pet.

Real-time Video Feed
Click on ‘Video’ in the app to watch real-time video footage from the feeder’s camera. Tap the ‘Feed’ icon to dispense food instantly.

Inside the box

Operations

  1. Power on the feeder
    Unbox and connect the USB Type-C Cable to the power socket at the bottom of the feeder, then connect the power supply to the wall outlet.
    The power supply is not included; please buy separately!
    When the device is running on batteries, it will automatically disable Wi-Fi, switch to offline mode, and won’t be controllable remotely.

  2. Bowl mounting

  3. Lid removing
    Open the lid according to the marked direction, remove the desiccant from the packaging, and place it in the desiccant cabinet

  4. Food filling

  5. Lid closing
    Lock the lid according to the marked direction

  6. Manual feeding

  7. Download the Petoneer app and connect the feeder to your Wi-Fi to schedule your feeding.

  9. Insert a Micro SD card*
    You can choose to record continuously or by motion detection. Daily activities can be recorded to check on in the future.

Please buy separately.
To consistently achieve the best experience with the Pet Cam, you should use UHS-I Micro SD cards with a Class 10 or above speed class in FAT32 format, or the recording may stop, and the unmatched storage cards may damage the footage.

In addition, the minimum storage of the TF card is 8GB the maximum storage the Pet Cam has been tested at is 256GB.
We recommend only purchasing name-brand microSD cards** through official resellers.

Backup Battery Installation

Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover at the bottom. Put four LR14 batteries inside (note the positive and negative poles), replace the cover and tighten the screws.

Note
You need to buy the batteries separately, and only alkaline dry batteries are supported. Before installing, make sure that there is nothing in the battery compartment. Install batteries for emergency backup in case of power failure.

If the batteries are not used for a long time, please remove them.

Quick Setup

  1. Scan the QR code on the right and download the Petoneer app on App Store and Google Play. Click Sign up to get walked through to create your Petoneer account.
  2. Power on and ensure the Wi-Fi Indicator LED is flashing slowly, reflecting the device is ready to join the Wi-Fi.
    Open the Petoneer app and click the ‘+’ button and get walked through the SET- UP steps.

Note

  1. The feeder doesn’t support the 5GHz Wi-Fi, please make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4G.
  2. If the Wi-Fi indicator is not blinking slowly after power-on, please long press and hold the manual feed button until the indicator blinks slowly.

Precautions

  1. Please use the device indoors and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can interfere with both the accuracy of the food level monitoring and the quality of the video image.
  2. Do not drop anything other than dry food into the food hopper. Otherwise, there is a risk of dysfunction or mistaken feeding;
  3. To prevent the feeder from being hit by pets, it is recommended to place the feeder at the corner or against the wall;
  4. Please shield or organize the power cord well to prevent the pet from biting the cable and causing dangerous situations such as electric shock;
  5. This product is only suitable for DRY FOOD, and WET FOOD is prohibited.
  6. It is recommended to replace the desiccant once a month, and do not fall into the hopper, and NEVER use it if it is damaged.
  7. The pet food’s shape and density will cause some deviations from the food hopper’s capacity and the feeding unit’s quantity.
  8. After each fill-up of the hopper, there may be a deviation of two portions at the initial feeding time. It is recommended to calibrate manually! (Click the manual feeding button until food is fed!)
  9. Clean the food passage regularly to get the kibble out smoothly.
  10. DO NOT clean the base; please wipe it with a rag instead. After cleaning the other parts, please dry them before reinstalling them.
  11. Children must use it under the guidance of adults.

 Warranty Terms

Within the period of warranty, if the product fails with no fault of user operations, it will be repaired at Petoneer’s expense. The warranty will not cover product failure in examples below:

  1. Intentional damage to the product by the user or third party
  2. Failure to operate or maintain the product following the (QIG) Quick Installation Guide Instructions.
  3. Failure by natural wear and tear including but not limited to scratching, corrosion, oxidation and rusting.
  4. Failure by non-authorized repair of the product including but not limited to user’s own or third-party repairing attempts or modifications.(All Pictures shown in the manual are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary due to product enhancement.)
