How Disinfection Works:
The UVC ultraviolet light emitted by the lamp disrupts the DNA and RNA structure of microorganisms and viruses causing them to die or be inactivated.

Operation:

1. Power On
   Press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds, and the 90-second and 60-minute indicators will light at the same time.

2. Time Mode Selection
   After startup, the default mode is 90 seconds. Press the button again within 5 seconds to switch to 60-minute mode.

3. Turn off
   Press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the pen.

4. Check Battery Status
   When the UV pen is off, press the button: 90-second and 60-minute Status LEDs are steady on at the same time: Battery Capacity>20%; 90-second and 60-minute Status LEDs are flashing at the same time: Battery Capacity<20%;

5. Charging
   Connect the provided USB cord to a power source. To fully charge can take up to 3 hours.

Disinfection Methods

1. Disinfect Surfaces
   While holding the pen body, point the window in the cap toward the surface to be treated. Hover the window within an inch of the surface and slowly scan the area. (The area must be illuminated for at least 2 seconds to ensure complete treatment.

2. Disinfection of Liquids
   Remove the cap and immerse the lamp inside the container of water, turn it on and treat by stirring. (Adjust the sterilization time according to the amount of water. It is recommended to stir for 90 seconds per 1L of water.)

3. Disinfect an area in the Fixed Position
   Remove the cap, turn it on and place the pan in an upright position in the area to be treated. (Will disinfect a 1m3 or yd3 area within? seconds.)

Cautions

1. Do not shine into the eyes and avoid direct exposure to body tissue.
2. DO NOT disassemble or modify the device.
3. To ensure optimum performance, keep the lamp clean by wiping it with a soft cloth or tissue.
4. Keep away from children. This is not a toy.
5. Do not drop.
6. Excessive cold temperatures may prevent the lamp from lighting.
7. After prolonged use, the inside of the cap may become yellowed. This is normal.

Warranty Terms

Within the period of warranty, if the product fails with no fault of user operations, it will be repaired at the retailer’s expense.
The warranty will not cover product failure in the examples below:

1. Intentional damage to the product by the user or third party
2. Failure to operate or maintain the product following the (QIG) Quick Installation Guide Instructions.
3. Failure by natural wear and tear including but not limited to scratching, corrosion, oxidation, and rusting.
4. Failure by non-authorized repair of the product including but not limited to user’s own or third-party repairing attempts or modifications.
