Note: After the speakerphone is connected to a laptop, its speaker and mic can be detected by laptop’s system and specific application in the name of the following:

  • Speaker Name: iSpeaker M260
  • Mic Name: iSpeaker M260

Application 1: With Power Delivery Via USB-C Power Adapter

Wiring Steps for Application 1:

  1. Connect HDMI port of the device to an HDMI display.
  2. Connect USB devices such as USB camera to USB-A ports.
  3. Connect USB-C (Power) to a power adapter for power supply.
  4. Connect USB-C (Laptop) to a laptop.

Wiring Steps for Application 2:

  1. Connect USB devices such as a camera to USB-A ports (same as step 2 of Application 1).
  2. Connect USB-C (Power) port to an USB-C display (with PD function). Note:
    • The display can supply power for the device.
    • The USB-C (Power) port also supports data transmission, and users can extend other peripheral devices through the connected USB-C display.
  3. Connect USB-C (Laptop) to a laptop.

Power Requirements

The device can be powered via the following two ways:

  1. Powered by the Laptop (through USB type-C (Laptop), 5V/3A recommended).
In this case, the device is not connected to any external power supply, the USB 3.0 Type-A ports of the device can only provide 300mA current, which is used to connect low-power USB devices such as mouse and keyboard.

  2. Powered by attaching the A/C power adapter (USB type-C) or a USB type-C monitor with PD function.
When users attach the A/C power adapter or USB-C PD monitor to the device, it will reserve 15w of power itself.
