Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of the LightMaster Multifunction Keypad. This
installation manual gives you instructions on how to install the LightMaster
Multifunction Keypad. Please read the following instructions carefully and
adhere to the safety guidelines and standards.

Safety Instructions
Intended Use
The Amico LightMaster Multifunction Keypad is designed to improve day-to-day operation of your room lighting. With advancements in room lighting, Amico has made it easy to operate each function of single or multiple light fixtures with one intuitive keypad. Incorporated in a single gang space, the LightMaster keypad can control the Reading, Ambient, Direct Light and Spot Lights that may be in the room. With infection control in mind, Amico uses a Mylar Overlay on each keypad for ease of cleaning. The LightMaster keypad is also designed as a low voltage device to ensure the highest levels of safety are met.
User Profiles
No modifications can be carried out by the end user. Doing so will void warranty, ETL approval, and may cause severe risks. Serviceable parts must be replaced with factory OEM parts. The user must comply with all building safety codes and disinfection requirements.

Tools/Materials Required
- 1/8” Flat Head Screwdriver

2 Phillips Screwdriver
- Silicone Wire Nuts
- Single gang electrical box for wall installation (Box provided with headwall)
Note: Before proceeding with the installation, make sure to remove the power to the electrical power supply.
LightMaster Controller is mounted in electrical box or light fixture as per the mounting drawing shown in this manual.
Installing LightMaster Multifunction Keypad

Remove 3 screws and take the cover off.

Connect the Master Controller input wires (Black= Line/White=Neutral) to the line voltage using silicone wire nuts.
NOTE: Do not turn the power on during the wiring work. -
Connect the ground wire from the main line power to the ground wire in the fixture.
NOTE: Correct Polarity must be observed in order for the switch to operate. The Master Controller can be severely damaged by reverse polarity. Ensure that all electrical connections are secured properly and have proper connection. -
Connect low voltage output wires from Master Controller to the keypad using silicone wire nuts. Each keypad will connect to one Red one Blue wire provided and labeled in light fixture. Wiring should be done as per the wiring diagram provided.

Connect wires for loads and dimming’s as per provided wiring diagram.

Connect two wires from the Master Controller low voltage output to the top terminal block on the keypad. (The bottom terminal block is used for the nurse call pillow speaker connection only).

Connect two wires from the nurse call to the bottom terminal block in the keypad in order to operate two functions through the pillow speaker. (Optional)
NOTE: The nurse call should be connected to only one keypad in the room. -
Once powered the keypads should communicate with each other as shown below. After installing the keypad, check all functions work properly.

Disinfecting, Cleaning, and Sterilization
NOTICE:
The keypad can only be disinfected with the following diluted products:
- Lysoformin
- Dismozon
- Hexaquart plus
- Sagrotan – fast disinfecting cleaner
NOTICE:
The local government regulations for disinfection must also be observed in addition to these instructions

Warranty Policy

Amico Lights Corporation warrants its products against defective materials and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of shipment. Within this period, Amico Lights Corporation will repair or replace any part on site or at the factory which is proven to be defective at Amico Lights Corporation’s cost.
Furthermore, Amico Lights Corporation will warrant its material to be free from defect for an additional period of four (4) years (five [5] years from the date of shipment). Within this period, Amico Lights Corporation will replace any part at no charge, which is proven to be defective. Shipping and installation costs after the first twelve (12) months will be borne by the customer. The warranty applies to normal usage and does not apply to any product that has been subject to alteration, abuse, negligence, or use (including voltage and/or current) other than that for which the product was designed.
Amico Lights Corporation shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the equipment.
All claims for warranty must first be approved by Amico Lights Corporation. A valid Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained from Amico Lights Corporation prior to commencement of any service work. Warranty work which has not been pre-authorized by Amico Lights Corporation will not be reimbursed.
