- Visit the official website and locate the download section.
- Click on the download button for the latest version of the product.
- Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file and run it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the product.
- During installation, when prompted to allow changes to your device, click “Yes”.
- Ensure that checkboxes for Intel Arc Control or Intel Driver Support Assistant are unchecked.
- Complete the installation process.
-
Click on this hyperlink and it should take you to a website.
-
Near the top of the website, you’ll see a version. Make sure that the version listed has (latest) next to it. If it does not have (latest) next to it, click on the drop-down arrow and find the version that has (latest) next to it.
-
Once you have selected the latest version, on that same page, you’ll see a download button. Click on that and it will start the download process.
-
Once the download is completed, click on File Explorer (the folder icon on your taskbar)
-
Navigate to the downloads section on the left-hand side of the file explorer
-
The first file at the top should be the file you just downloaded. Double-click that file to run it.
-
After you open it, eventually a pop up will appear asking if you would like to allow this app to make changes to your device. You will click Yes.
-
The application will launch and it will be titled “Intel Graphics Driver Installer”. There will be a “Begin Installation” button in the bottom right of that app. Click on this option.
-
Click “I agree” to the Intel Software License Agreement.
-
Next, in the bottom right corner, you’ll see a button titled “Customize” and a button titled “Start”. Click the Customize button
-
Under the “select components to install” only the Intel Graphics Driver box should be checked. If Intel Arc Control or Intel Driver Support Assistant is checked, uncheck those boxes
-
At the bottom, you’ll see an option called Execute a clean installation. Ensure this box is checked.
-
Click start and wait for the application to finish running the installation process.
-
While the process is taking place, you may notice some of your monitors or
laptop screen flicker or turn off momentarily. This is a normal occurrence. They should all turn back on shortly. -
Once the installation is complete, the app will tell you “Installation complete”
-
If you press Finish, you’ll be able to continue using the device after the driver installation, but it is highly recommended you reboot your device either right after the installation or before you leave to go home at the end of the day, to allow the drivers to take full effect on your device.
