The Kingrinder Manual Hand Coffee Grinder is a high-quality coffee grinder designed for home use. It provides precise grinding settings for various brewing methods, including Turkish coffee, espresso, Moka pot, AeroPress, pour-over, and French press. Product Usage Instructions

Operating the Grinder

  1. Gently rotate the adjustment nut clockwise until it stops at zero. Ensure it is not locked too tightly.
  2. Rotate the adjustment nut anti-clockwise to the recommended grinding click numbers based on your desired brewing method (refer to the table below).
  3. Add 30-35g of coffee beans into the grinder.
  4. Put the handle on and start grinding.

Cleaning the Grinder
To clean the grinder, follow these steps:

  1. Rotate the adjustment nut anti-clockwise for a coarser grind.
  2. Hold down the burr set and remove the circlip.
  3. Take out the components in order, including the burr set.
  4. Use the provided brush or air blower to clean the grinder. Do not wash it with water.

Assembling the PC Lid and Handle

  1. Remove the black O ring from the groove of the PC lid.
  2. Insert the provided white O ring into the groove of the handle for fixation.
  3. Done!

Using the Grinder with an Electric Screwdriver
If you want to use the grinder with an electric screwdriver, follow these steps:

  • Prepare an electric screwdriver with a torque of 15-25.
  • Use a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) Hex Shank.
  • Separate the PC lid and handle, then install the black O-ring.
  • Insert the Hex Shank, grasp the grinder firmly, and gradually power it on. Ensure the grinding speed is not too fast.

Precautions

  1. The entire grinder should not be washed with water. Please use the provided brush or air blower for cleaning.
  2. Do not turn the handle when the scale is at zero or below 15 clicks to avoid damaging the burr.
  3. Do not forcefully disassemble the exterior burr using tools for precision reasons.
  4. Avoid grinding items other than coffee beans and unroasted beans that have not undergone the roasting process.
  5. Avoid directly spraying water onto any part of the grinder during operation.
  6. Avoid pouring ground coffee powder into the hopper for secondary grinding, as it may block the parts and make disassembly difficult.

HOW TO OPERATE THE GRINDER

  1. Gently rotate the adjustment nut clockwise till Stop to zero. When turning it to the 0 position for the last time, it is the correct position. Do not lock too tightly.
  2. Rotate the adjustment nut anti-clockwise to the grinding click numbers. (Please refer to the advised grinding clicks below.)
  3. Put 30-35g coffee beans into the grinder.
  4. Put the handle on and start to grind.

RECOMMENDED GRINDER SETTINGS

  • ONE CIRCLE IS EQUIVALENT TO 60 CLICKS.

HOW TO CLEAN THE GRINDER

Disassemble:

  1. Rotate the adjustment nut anti-clockwise for a coarser grind.
  2. Hold down the burr set and remove the circlip.
  3. Take out the components in order. The burr set (attached with the central shaft), the bearing cover and the spring from the burr set. Then the top bearing cover and the top bearing from the above. In this state, do not turn the adjustment dial as it is an unnecessary step.

Assemble:

  1. Put the components in order. The spring and the bearing cover and put the burr set back to the grinder.
  2. Hold down the burr set and put on the top bearing and the top bearing cover. There are two shapes of the top bearing cover: flat design and curved design. The curved design shape of the top bearing cover faces upward.
  3. Slide the circlip onto the curved design shape of the top bearing cover.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE PC LID AND HANDLE

  1. Remove the black O ring from the groove of the PC lid.

  2. Insert the provided white O ring. 2.

  3. Ensure the white O ring is securely pushed into the groove of the handle for fixation.

  4. Done.

HOW TO USE IT BY ELECTRIC

You need to prepare:
