Camera Charging
The camera does not come fully charged due to safety regulations. Before using
it for the first time, please charge it for 10 hours with the charging cable
inside the box (DC5V / 2A).
Status light is flashing red : charging
Status light is solid red : fully charged
Turning the Camera On & Off
Powering on or off: Long press the power button at the back of the camera.
Pre-Installation Notes
- Keep Birdfy Hum Feeder and all accessories out of the reach of children and pets.
- Make sure the camera is fully charged (DC5V/2A).
- Working temperature: -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) Working relative humidity: 0-90%
- Please avoid exposing the camera lens to direct sunlight.
- The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, which allows it to function properly in rainy or snowy conditions. However, it should not be submerged in water.
Note:
- Birdfy Hum Feeder only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Strong light may interfere with the device’s ability to scan QR codes.
- Avoid placing the device behind furniture or near a microwave oven. Please try to keep it in the range of your Wi-Fi signal.
Al Bird Identification
Birdfy Hum Feeder is capable of detecting and identifying the species of
visiting hummingbirds. This feature is completely free and activated
automatically once your feeder starts working.

Q1: What Wi-Fi does Birdfy Hum Feeder support and how far can it reach?
A1: Birdfy Hum Feeder supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It can be placed up to 100 meters away from the Wi-Fi router, provided there are no obstacles between them.
Q2: Does it support SD/TF cards?
: No, Birdfy Hum Feeder does not support SD/TF cards as we offer free cloud storage with a 30-day data retention period. You don't need to spend extra money on a TF card and can conveniently view bird photos and videos.
Can multiple users connect to Birdfy Hum Feeder?
: Yes, you can share the camera with your friends and family members. However, one camera can only be owned by one account.
Can I wash Birdfy Hum Feeder with a dishwasher?
: No, the Birdfy Hum Feeder cannot be washed with a dishwasher as the heat may damage the materials. We have provided cleaning brushes for you to wash it manually.
How often should I clean the feeder?
: Bacteria tend to thrive in warm environments. Therefore, we recommend cleaning the feeder daily in hot weather.
