AttachHandleToVacuum

LocatethevacuumHandleandremovethescrew packettapedtothebaseoftheHandle.

Standthevacuumuprightandslidethebaseof theHandlefirmlyintothegroovesatthetopofthe

vacuumbody.

ChecktobesuretheHandleisfittedtothevacuum body.Ifthereisagapinfront,continuetopushfirmly

untiltheHandleisflush.

Insertthescrewprovidedfromthescrewpacketinto theexistinghole.Tightensecurelywithascrewdriver.

WARNING:
Plasticfilmcan bedangerous.Toavoid dangerofsuffocation, keepawayfrombabies andchildren.

CleanCarpetSensor SelectModelsOnly TheCleanCarpetSensordetectsdirtbeingpickedup whilethevacuumisinuse.Whenthevacuumispicking updirt,theredlightwillcomeon.Occasionally,thelights mayalternatequicklybackandforthiftheareaisonly lightlysoiledorthedirtisspreadout.Forthebest cleaning,continuetovacuumuntilthegreenlight remainsconstantlyilluminated.

CleanFilterIndicator SelectModelsOnly TheCleanFilterIndicatortellsyouwhenairflowin thevacuumisreducedduetodirtyfiltersoraclog inthehose.TheCleanFilterIndicatorwillremain greenuntiltheairflowisreduced.Atthattime,it beginstochangetored.Whenitisfullyred,the airflowissignificantlyreducedorblocked.Follow thestepsonpage11tocleanyourfilters.Allfilters inthevacuumshouldbecleanedorreplacedwhen theCleanFilterIndicatorturnsred.

CleanCarpetSensor TomaintaintheeffectivenessoftheCleanCarpet Sensor,aquarterlycleaningoftheinternalsensor lensisrecommended.Tocleanthesensorlens, detachtheTwistnSnapHoseandgentlywipethe clearlensareausingalightlydampenedsoftcloth. Allowenoughtimeforthelenstodrythoroughly beforereattachingtheTwistnSnapHoseandusing thevacuum.

1. Unplugthecleanerfromelectricaloutlet.

TheUpperTankFiltercanbereachedbyremovingtheDirt Container,reachingunderneaththeUpperTankandturning

therimoftheFilterFrametounlock.Pullstraightdownto

remove.BrushthedirtofftheLouversandUpperTankFilter.

ThefoamUpperTankFiltermayberemovedandhand washedincoldwaterwithmilddetergent.Rinsewellthen

airdrythoroughlybeforereplacing.

TheUpperTankandLouversmayalsobewipedcleanwith adampcloth.

Note:Foreasieraccess,theentireUpperTank mayberemovedbyturningtheknobonthe backofthecleanertounlockandpullingthe entiretankstraightout.

CleaningThePre-MotorandPost-MotorFilter

1. Unplugthecleanerfromelectricaloutlet.

ThePre-MotorFilterprotectsthemotorfromdirtparticles. ItislocatedintheslideouttrayunderneaththeDirt

Container.Ifthefilterbecomesdirty,pulloutthetray,lift

outthefilterandclean.

WARNING:
DoNotoperatecleaner withdamporwet filtersorwithoutall filtersinplace.

ThePost-MotorFilterassistsinthefiltrationprocessto returncleanairtotheroom.Itislocatedbehindthedooron

thesideofthecleaner.Ifthefilterbecomesdirty,openthe

door,removethefilterandclean.

Note:SelectModelscomewithawhite,pleated HEPAMediaFilter.Thisfilterisnotwashable andmustbereplaced.

TurnRotatingFloorBrushbyhandseveraltimesinthe directionofMotorPulley.Ifproperlyinstalled,DriveBelt

willcentreitselfonRotatingBrushcrown.

RepositionBrushCoverandscreworsnapbackintoplace. Checktobesureallscrewsorlatchesaresecure.

1. Unplugcleanerfromelectricaloutlet.

Usingascrewdriver,removethetwoscrewsasshown andliftoffthelens.

Removethebulbfromthesocketbygraspingbulband pullingstraightout.Installthenewbulbbypushingit

gentlyintothesocketuntilthebulbsnapsintoplace.

4. Repositionlensandsecurewiththetwoscrews.
