Product Usage Instructions

Important: Install the wall jamb on the same side wall as the showerhead. Use a suitable drill bit for tile installations.

  • Carefully position the bath screen on the bath ledge, align with the wall jamb, drill holes, and secure it with screws.
  • Attach cover clips and caps over screws. Remove and reinstall seals as instructed.
  • Clean surfaces, apply silicone sealant as per manufacturer’s instructions, secure the cap onto the top of the wall jamb, and wipe away excess sealant.

Before You Begin

  • WARNING: Risk of serious injury. Damage before installation can result in glass shattering. Inspect the glass and all parts for damage before installation.

  • WARNING: Risk of serious injury. The shower door and side panels can shatter. Regularly inspect the glass and all parts for damage, missing, or loose parts.
  • WARNING: Risk of serious injury. Always wear safety glasses while cutting and drilling.
  • CAUTION: Risk of personal injury. Tempered glass should not contact with hard surfaces or it may shatter. Do not touch the edge of the tempered glass panel with tools or any hard objects.

  • IMPORTANT! This door is designed to accommodate walls that are less than 3/8″ (10 mm) out of plumb. Verify the area the door will be attached to is within 3/8″ (10 mm) of the plumb. The door may not function properly if the wall is more than 3/8″ (10 mm) out of plumb.
  • Identify all parts before installation. Inspect for damage.
  • During the installation, protect the shower floor with a drop cloth to avoid damage.
  • The shower base and finished walls should be installed before beginning the shower door installation.
  • Follow the instructions to apply 100% silicone sealant for the door. Sealing areas other than those shown in the installation instructions may cause leaking.

Install the Wall Jambs

  • IMPORTANT! Install the wall jamb on the same side wall as the showerhead.
  • IMPORTANT! A 1/4″ drill bit is not suitable for drilling through tile. For tile installations, use a 1/4″ tile bit.
  • NOTE: Remove the trim cap from the wall jamb before beginning installation.
  • Position the wall jamb against the wall, on the highest point of the bath or shower base ledge. Refer to the illustration above for correct placement.
  • If needed, use a coin to match and mark the corner radius on the bottom of the wall jamb that fits against the shower base and wall.
  • Trim the wall jamb to fit the shower base.
  • Use a file to remove any burrs.
  • Use a level to verify that the wall jamb is plumb.
  • Temporarily secure the wall jamb with masking tape.
  • Mark the four-hole locations on the wall jamb.
  • Remove the masking tape and set the wall jamb aside.
  • Drill a 1/4″ hole at each of the four marked hole locations.
  • Insert an anchor into each hole. Verify that the anchors are flush with the finished wall.
  • Secure the wall jamb with the provided screws.
  • Apply 100% silicone sealant to the bottom inside of the wall jamb.

Secure the Scree

  • Carefully position the bath screen on the bath ledge and align the edge with the wall jamb.
  • Verify that the seal is compressed as shown.
  • Press the top of the bath screen into the wall jamb.
  • Use the provided drill bit to drill the top and bottom 1/8″ holes through the wall jamb channel and into the screen frame.
  • Secure the top and bottom of the bath screen frame to the wall jam using the provided screws.
  • Drill the two remaining holes and secure with the provided screws.

Install the Covers and Caps

  • Install cover clips over each screw.
  • Install a cap on each screw.
  • Remove the seal from the bottom of the door.
  • Use needlenose pliers to gently remove the seal cap.
  • Press the seal to expel the leveling rod from the inside of the seal. Reinstall the seal cap on the seal.
  • Reinstall the seal to the bottom of the door.
  • Align and snap the trim cap back into place.

Complete the Installation

NOTE: Thoroughly clean all dust, dirt, or grease from the bottom track and shower ledge surfaces where 100% silicone sealant will be applied. Verify that the surfaces are dry.
IMPORTANT! Follow the silicone sealant manufacturer’s instructions for application and curing time.

  • Select the cap that corresponds to the door configuration.
  • Apply a bead of 100% silicone sealant to the cap, and secure the cap onto the top of the wall jamb. Apply 100% silicone sealant to the exterior edge of the wall jamb.
  • Wipe away the excess sealant.
