Purpose

Pump set for use with a breast milk pump for expressing breast milk for

nursing mothers.

3.1 Indication mamivac

pump sets should be used together with mamivac® breast pumps to gently and gently pump and collect breast milk. Breastfeeding problems can be, for example: mastitis (breast inflammation), anatomical variants of the nipple (which make it difficult to latch on), painful, sore nipples, insufficient milk production, excess milk, premature births, metabolic disorders of the infant, anatomical malformation of the infant in the facial area, temporary illness of the mother ( e.g. taking medication).

Contraindication In general,

the use of medications can affect the breastfeeding of the infant. Relevant information is contained in the drug manufacturer’s package insert. 3.3 Side effects In individual cases, irritation of the skin, such as redness or red spots, may occur.

Hygiene and cleaning

Before using for the first time, please cook parts c) to i) for at least 5 minutes boiling water or put them in a steam disinfection device, e.g. a vaporizer. Please note the relevant instructions from the manufacturer. • Please do not use chemical disinfectant baths, solutions or

Abrasives.

•  All parts, except the air hose and hose connection, can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher using standard dishwashing detergent getting cleaned. If necessary, use a brush to get to hard-to-reach areas to get to places.

• Before each further use, clean the parts that come into contact with milk arrived. The air hose and hose connection must be cleaned not required. These parts can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

• After cleaning, you must wash parts c) to i) thoroughly with lukewarm water Rinse off water. This will remove any detergent residue that may have stuck on it. especially for the components that come into direct contact with breast milk.

Storage of breast milk

Breast milk lasts:

• freshly pumped at room temperature (16°-29°C) for 3-4 hours
• in the back of the refrigerator (below 4°C) for 3 days
• in the freezer (-18 °C) 6 months To do this, only fill the bottles or containers used 2/3 full and note the filling date. Instead of a bottle, you can also use our specially developed mamivac® breast milk freezer bags [REF 282100 PZN (D) 1279777]. Do not thaw frozen breast milk in the microwave, but at room temperature. If necessary, place the bottle or bag in warm water. After thawing, shake the container or bag gently to mix the milk.
