Read carefully and follow the finishing recommendations set out in the installation instructions to prevent cracks in the putty joints.
Avoid installing ceiling diffusers above permanent seating areas. Since the air flow is directed directly downwards, you can feel the air current. The recommendation applies only to supply air diffusers.
When carrying out installation work, wear appropriate protective equipment: helmet, goggles and gloves.
The duct connection fittings are screwed into the connection box, or the covers are fixed by rotating them at an angle of 45 degrees (Fig. 1.5). It is necessary to rotate firmly up to the point of full flxation!
If you have purchased a diffuser with an airflow balancing damper, it is adjustable with two hex keys (Fig. 1.18).
When carrying out finishing works, we recommend following Knauf finishing technology.
Before applying putty, remove dust from the surfaces and gaps.
Prime the surfaces with Ceresit CT-17 or Knauf “Tiefgrund” primer.
We recommend using Knauf “Fugenfuler” or “Uniflott” putty to fill gaps.
In order to prevent cracks in the joint, we recommend reinforcing the entire diffuser surface with thin glass fabric (Fig. 1.12).
Before painting, prime surfaces covered with putty by using a deep primer, and in humid premises, use a moisture-resistant primer.
In humid premises, use a moisture-resistant ceiling paint specifically designed for such premises.
