Unpacking Your Orion Nano

Caution
- Any modification made without the consent of the manufacturer may result in damage to the product.
- Avoid using the Orion Nano near very strong magnetic fields.
Setting Up Your Orion Nano
- Rinse and clean the bean hopper with warm soapy water before your first use. Dry immediately after cleaning.
- Place your Orion Nano on a flat, stable surface.
- Attach the Orion hopper on the hopper adapter.
- Before dosing, make sure to position a dosing cup or container beneath the chute to catch any beans that might fall when adding them into the hopper.
*The Orion Nano can be used without a charging cable. You may want to fully charge it before your first use.
Getting to know your Orion Nano
Setting up the Orion’s Belt
You can connect multiple Orion Nanos and establish your custom coffee blending station. For detailed instructions on pairing the Orion Nanos and configuring the Orion’s Belt, please refer to page 13 in the User Manual.
Charing your Orion Nano
When the Orion Nano shows “Low Bat”, please charge the Orion Nano with the
UCB-C charger included in the package. The Charging indicator will display
when the battery is charging and will turn off when the charger is removed.
*The Orion Nano can be used without a charging cable. However, you may want to charge it before your first use to make sure it is fully charged. The battery lasts for about 12 hours when fully charged.
Maintaining your Orion Nano
- Use a soft cloth with warm water only to clean the product.
- Do not use detergent or any chemicals for cleaning and soaking as it can damaged the anodized coating on the product.
Calibrating your Orion Nano
The Orion Nano is a precision instrument, and regular calibration is recommended with frequent use. Here’s how to perform a smart calibration for your Orion Nano.
Note: You may use a 100 g or 500 g weight for calibration. To ensure accuracy, use Acaia calibration weights or F1 or F2 Class calibration weights.
Updating the Orion Nano’s Firmware
Use the Acaia Updater app to learn about the latest firmware releases and updates for the Orion Nano. Please refer to the user manual for more information.
