Product Usage Instructions

If the screen doesn’t display anything, replace the battery. The e-ink screen can still show content for a while without power.
Avoid placing the product on suede or raised surfaces to prevent inaccurate measurements.
Attach the monitor to a wall using the provided wall stickers with double-sided tape. Follow the instructions for proper installation.
Use the mobile app Qingping+ to connect, view readings, access historical data, and upgrade firmware. Follow the app instructions for setup.
The device connects to the home hub via Thread automatically. Press the button for manual connection. If not supported, it operates in Bluetooth mode.
Press the button to switch temperature units. The product will attempt to connect to the home hub via Thread.

Q: How do I know if my home hub supports Thread connection?
A: Home hubs such as HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K (2nd generation), and Apple TV 4K (3rd generation with Ethernet port) support Thread connection.
Q: Can I use the product with Android devices?
A: This product does not support connecting to Android devices.

Insert or Replace Battery

The Qingping Temp & RH Monitor uses a CR2430 button cell.

Fully open the back cover (at an angle of 90° to the body), then hold the battery cover with both thumbs and push it counterclockwise to unscrew the battery cover.

If the screen doesn’t display anything, the battery needs to be replaced.
Note: After removing the battery, the content may still be displayed on the screen. This is normal. The product uses an e-ink screen, so the content can be displayed for a while without a power supply.

Desktop Mode
The Qingping Temp & RH Monitor can be placed on desktops.

Open the back cover halfway (at an angle of 45° to the body). The monitor can then be placed on the desktop.

Note: Avoid placing the product on surfaces of suede or raised particles to prevent the vent hole at the bottom of the product from being clogged, which could result in inaccurate measurement.

Wall Mode

The Qingping Temp & RH Monitor can be attached to a wall using the provided wall stickers.
There is a wall sticker in the package with double-sided tape on the back.
Remove the film from the double-sided tape, stick the wall sticker to your selected position, and then attach the Qingping Temp & RH Monitor.

Connect to “Home”¨

Open the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, tap “+”, then select “Add or Scan Accessory” and follow the instructions shown in the app.
Note: If the device fails to add, reset it and try again. Refer to “Reset Factory Settings” in this manual.
The “Works with Apple” badge means the accessory is designed to work specifically with the technology identified in the badge and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the operation or compliance of this device with safety and regulatory standards.

Connect to “Qingping+”

You can also use the mobile app “Qingping+” to connect this product, view readings, access historical data, upgrade firmware, and more.
Visit qingping.co/plus or scan the QR code below to download the app:
Alternatively, search “Qingping+” on the App Store or Google Play.
After installing the app, open it and add a device by selecting “Qingping Temp & RH Monitor
T”, then follow the instructions in the app.

Note

If you have added your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T in the Home app, it will automatically appear in the Qingping+ app, and no additional setup is required.
While the Qingping+ app is open and connected to your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T, it will sync the 30-day historical data.
This product does not support connecting to Android devices.

Thread Mode and Bluetooth Mode
This product usually connects to the home hub via Thread automatically. If not connected, press the button on the back of the product to attempt connection to the home hub.

If the home hub does not support Thread, the product will operate in Bluetooth mode.
When in Thread mode, the screen displays the Thread icon.
At this time, the product will not always display the remaining battery level. To check the remaining battery level, please press the button on the back of the product.
When in Bluetooth mode, the screen displays the Bluetooth icon and the remaining battery level.

Note: “Home Hub” refers to Apple Home Hub devices such as HomePod, HomePod mini, and Apple TV (4th generation or newer models). Some home hubs support Thread connection, including HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K (2nd generation), and Apple TV 4K (3rd generation with Ethernet port).

Switch the Temperature Unit

The temperature unit on the product’s screen can switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Press the button on the back of the product to switch the unit. The product will try to connect to the home hub via Thread.

Restore Factory Settings
Press and hold the button on the back of the product, release after the screen displays “188”, and wait for the product to return to display correct temperature and humidity readings. This completes the factory reset.

The perceived temperature depends on many factors, including air temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, physical activity, and clothing.
In winter, the human body feels most comfortable when the temperature is between 20°C ~ 24°C, with RH between 30% ~ 60%. In summer, the comfortable range is 23°C ~ 26°C, with RH between 25% ~ 60%.

Attention

Frequently Asked Questions

Readings inaccurate.	When the environment changes drastically, such as moving

from outdoors to indoors, allow about 10 minutes for the readings to stabilize to the actual values of the new environment.

Holding the product in hand can affect readings due to body temperature, resulting in discrepancies between readings and actual environmental values.

Check if the vent hole at the bottom of the product is clogged. If so, clean it carefully to avoid damaging the sensor.

E1 shows on the screen.| The environmental temperature has exceeded the

measurement range of the product. Place the product in a normal indoor environment.

The screen turns black occasionally and then returns to normal.| The product uses an e-ink screen, which needs to be completely refreshed after being partly refreshed several

times. When it’s being completely refreshed, the screen will turn black and then return to normal immediately.

The screen doesn’t show anything.| Please refer to the instructions for “Insert or Replace Battery” in this manual.
The screen still displays

readings after the battery is removed.

Error Codes

Warranty Conditions

A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2 years. If you need repair or other services during the warranty period, contact the product seller directly, you must provide the original proof of purchase with the date of purchase.
The following are considered to be a conflict with the warranty conditions, for which the claimed claim may not be recognized:

Using the product for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended or failing to follow the instructions for maintenance, operation, and service of the product.
Damage to the product by a natural disaster, the intervention of an unauthorized person or mechanically through the fault of the buyer (e.g., during transport, cleaning by inappropriate means, etc.).
Natural wear and aging of consumables or components during use (such as batteries, etc.).
Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power supplies, etc.
