Qingping CGPR1 Motion and Ambient Light Sensor T

Insert or Replace Batteries

Rotate counterclockwise to open the back cover, then rotate the battery compartment counterclockwise and take it out, put two CR2450  batteries in the compartment：

Put the battery compartment and the cover back, the product will be turned on.

Connect to “Home”

Open the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, and tap “+”, then select “Add or Scan Accessory”, and follow the instruction to add your Qingping Air Monitor Lite.

• If you failed to add the device, please reset the network settings of the device and try again. Please refer to “Reset Network Settings” in this manual.
• To control this HomeKit-enabled accessory, the latest version of iOS or iPadOS is recommended.

Home hub

A customer who owns an Apple TV (4th generation or later) with tvOS 10 or later, an iPad with iOS 10 or later, or a HomePod or HomePod mini can control HomeKit-enabled accessories away from home and automatically through triggers such as time of day, location, sensor detection, or the action of an accessory.

Use of the Works with Apple badge means that an accessory has been designed to work specifically with the technology identified in the badge and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the operation of this device or its compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Connect to “Qingping+”

You can use the mobile app “Qingping+” to connect Qingping Motion & Ambient Light Sensor T, to view the readings, access the historical data, and upgrade the firmware, etc.

Or search “Qingping+” on App Store or Google Play.
After installing the app, please open it and add a device, select “Qingping Motion & Ambient Light Sensor T”, and then follow the instructions the app shows.

Installation

Method 1:
Remove the tape cover from the base, stick the base to your selected position, and then attach the main body:

Method 2:
Tear off the film from one side of the double-sided adhesive contained in the package, stick the double-sided adhesive on the back of the main body, and tear off the film from the other side, then stick the main body at the selected position:

• Do not install near cold and hot sources or vent holes;
• Do not install it in a position facing glass doors or windows to avoid the interference of strong light;
• Do not install it in a position facing swinging objects;
• Make sure the lens facing the target area you want when installing the product.

Motion detecting area

• • The detecting area is only a schematic diagram.
• The test data came from a cooperative laboratory of Qingping and was measured at normal temperature (25°C) under the condition that the product was installed at 2.2 meters vertical height and facing downward at 20° angle.

Work with Gateway

To receive push notifications on your smartphone or set up automation, you need to equip a suitable Bluetooth gateway device for this product. The Bluetooth gateway device may to be purchased separately.
When using the Qingping+ app, the suitable Bluetooth gateway device is Qingping Bluetooth Gateway. When using Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app, all the Mi / Xiaomi Bluetooth gateway devices support this product.
This product and the Bluetooth gateway device should be added to the same account, and the distance between them should be within the Bluetooth transmission range.

Restore Factory Settings

Turn counterclockwise to open the back cover of the product’s main body, press and hold the blue button, the light will blink and then become steady, and the factory settings are restored.

Will my pet trigger the sensor?:

When the ambient temperature is around 36°C, which is close to the human body temperature, the infrared sensor may not accurately identify the human body’s movement. You can cool the environment down, such as turning on the air conditioner.

Performance Faults

• No response when the button is pressed.
• Press and hold the blue button, the light cannot be lit.
• The sensor is not working properly.

Warranty

In the countries and regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has established branches or after-sales service centers, we provide a 1-year limited warranty service for the locally sold Qingping Motion & Ambient Light Sensor T. The warranty service terms are:

1. Within 7 days from the date of the receipt, if the product has faults listed in the “Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our
   the after-sales service department, the customer can have a refund or exchange the product for free.

2. From the 8th to the 15th day after the receipt, if the product has faults listed in the “Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service department, the customer can have a replacement or repair service for free.

3. Within 12 months from the date of receipt, if the product has faults listed in th “Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service department, the customer can have the maintenance service for free. In countries or regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has not established a branch or after-sales service center, please contact the local seller if you have any quality problems.

Non-warranty

1. Unauthorized repair, misuse, collision, negligence, abuse, liquid injection, accident, alteration, improper use of accessories not originally supplied with this product.
2. The warranty period has expired.
3. Damage caused by force majeure.
4. The situation does not meet the fault listed in the Performance Faults.
