Thank you for using Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T.

Insert or Replace Battery

Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T uses a CR2430 button cell.

Fully open the back cover (at an angle of 90° to the body), and then hold the battery cover with both thumbs and push it counterclockwise to unscrew the battery cover:

If the screen doesn’t display anything, the battery needs to be replaced.

• After removing the battery, the content may still be displayed on the screen, it’s normal. The product uses an e-ink screen, the content displayed on it can be kept for a while without a power supply.

Desktop Mode

Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T can be placed on desktops to use.

By opening the back cover halfway (at an angle of 45° to the body), the Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T can be placed on the desktop:

• Please avoid placing the product on surfaces of suede or raised particles to prevent the vent hole at the bottom of the product from being clogged and resulting in an inaccurate measurement.

Wall Mode

Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T can be used with its wall stickers and attached to a wall.
There is a wall sticker in the package, and the double-sided tape is stuck on the back of it:
Remove the film of the double-sided tape, stick the wall sticker to your selected position, and then attach the Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T :

Switch the Temperature Unit

The temperature unit displayed on Qingping Temperature & RH Monitor screen can be switched between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).

Press the button on the back of the product to switch:

Connect to “Home”

Open the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, and tap “+”, then select “Add or Scan Accessory”, follow the instruction to add your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T.

• To control the accessory through the Home app automatically or remotely, you have to set up your HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub. It is recommended that you update to the latest software and operating system.
• If failed to add, please reset the Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T and try again.
  Please refer to “Reset Factory Settings” in this manual.

Connect to “Qingping+”

You can also use the mobile app “Qingping+” to connect Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T, to view the readings, access the historical data, and upgrade the firmware, etc.

You can visit Qingming.co/plus or scan the QR code below to download the app:

After installing the app, please open it and add a device, select “Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T ”, and then follow the instructions the app shows.

• If you have added your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T in the Home app, then it will appear in the Qingping+ app automatically, no need to add it again.

• While the Qingping+ app is opened and connected to your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T, it will sync the 30-day historical data automatically, please keep the Bluetooth connection during the process.

Restore Factory Settings

Press and hold the key on the back of the product, and release it after the screen displays “188”, and then wait for the product to return to display correct temperature and humidity readings, which means that the restoration of factory settings has been completed.

Measuring Items and Ranges

The temperature that a human body perceives depends on many factors such as air temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, physical activity and condition, or even the clothes worn.

In winter, the human body feels the most comfortable when the temperature is between 20℃~24℃ while RH is between 30%~60%; in summer, the range is respectively 23
℃~26℃and 25%~60%.

Attention

• Do not block the vent hole on the bottom of the product.
• This product is not waterproof or dustproof.
• Do not use in an environment with a humidity greater than 90% for a long time.
• Do not throw the battery or the product with the battery into the fire to avoid an explosion.
• Do not disassemble the product by yourself to avoid injury.

FAQ

1. When the environment changes drastically, for example, after just moving from outdoor to indoors, it needs about 10 minutes for the readings to approach the actual values of the new environment.

2. When the product is held in hand, the temperature of the human body will affect the readings, resulting in a difference between the readings and the actual values of the environment.

3. Check if the vent hole at the bottom of the product is clogged. If it is clogged, please clean it carefully, and avoid damaging the sensor.

E1 shows on the screen.|

The environment temperature exceeded the measurement range of the product. Please put the product in a normal indoor environment.

The screen turns black occasionally and then returns to normal.| The product uses an e-ink screen, which needs to be completely refreshed after being partly refreshed several times. When it’s being completely refreshed, the screen will turn to black and then return to normal immediately.
The screen doesn’t show anything.| Please check if the isulating sheet has been removed according to the instructions on page 1 of this manual. If it is removed already, please try replacing the battery. The battery type is button battery CR2430.
The screen still displays readings after the battery is removed.|

The product uses an e-ink screen that keeps displaying the content for a while after the battery is removed.

Error Codes

Performance Faults

The content displayed on the screen is incomplete or the screen cannot display content.
No response when the button is pressed.
The sensor is not working properly.

Warranty

In the countries and regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has established branches or after-sales service centers, we provide a 1-year limited warranty service for the locally sold Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T . The warranty service terms are:

1. Within 7 days from the date of the receipt, if the product has faults that listed in the “Performance Faults” after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service department, the customer can have a refund or exchange the product for free.
2. From the 8th to the 15th day after the receipt, if the product has faults that are listed in the “Performance Faults” after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service department, the customer can have a replacement or repair service for free.
3. Within 12 months from the date of receipt, if the product has faults that listed in the “Performance Faults” after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service department, the customer can have the maintenance service for free.

In countries or regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has not established a branch or after-sales service center, please contact the local seller if you have any quality problems.

Non-warranty

1. Unauthorized repair, misuse, collision, negligence, abuse, liquid injection, accident, alteration, and improper use of accessories not originally supplied with this product.
2. The warranty period has expired.
3. Damage caused by force majeure.
4. The situation does not meet the fault listed in the Performance Faults.
