WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing.Replace all parts and panels before operating.Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
Note : The suction port and process port are reversed on these compressors. If these ports are not connected properly, oil can enter the line and degrade performance and compressor life. See Figures 1 and 2.
Note: Use the suction line provided to connect to the suction port on the
new compressor.
Note: This repair requires the R600a charge to be lower than the original
compressor. The original charge was 48g, and the replacement charge is 43g.
Once the repair is complete, the provided labels (see Figure 3 )
must be placed on the unit. One label will go in the Refrigerator Compartment
next to the serial tag, as shown in Figure 4.
The other label will be placed on the back panel above the replaced
compressor, as shown in Figure 5.
