Identification of Parts

  • Dogleg
  • Tap Selector switch

Installation Guidelines

  1. Connect Phoenix Speaker connection block to BCS250
  2. Set B170S Speaker Out to desired setting (4/8 ohms, 70V, or 100V)
  3. Position BCS250 in-ceiling with a 6-inch cut-out hole
  4. Loosen dogleg by turning counterclockwise to unlock
  5. Tighten dogleg carefully (clockwise) – do not overtighten
  6. Repeat the above steps for the remaining doglegs
  7. Adjust the Tap Selector switch to the desired setting (Low Impedance or others)

SAVE THE PACKAGING
Please save the box and all of the packaging in which your BCS250 arrived. Should you move or otherwise need to transport your BCS250, this is by far the safest container to do so. We’ve seen too many otherwise perfect components damaged in transit for lack of a proper shipping carton, so please: Save that box!

IMPORTANT NOTES
• Compatible Bluesound Professional product is the B170S.
• Use Wiring gauge: 14-18 AWG.
• Follow speaker wire connections concerning the B170S Speaker Out setting.

B170S Speaker Out setting to 4Ω/8Ω, 70V

Position BCS250 in-ceiling

Loosen dogleg to unlock

Tighten dogleg. Be sure not to tighten too fast or too tight.

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the three other doglegs.

Adjust the Tap Selector switch to the desired setting

Install supplied grille

  • BCS Round Grille White (supplied)

  • BCS Square Grille Black (sold separately)
