  2. The DJI Cellular Dongle 2 only supports nano-SIM cards.
  3. DO NOT touch the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 when it is in use as it may be hot.

  5. DO NOT connect this product to non-specified devices. Otherwise, the product may be damaged. Specified devices include Windows computers and compatible DJI devices. Refer to the manual documentation of the corresponding DJI device to learn more about the compatibility.

Introduction
Supporting various communication standards and frequency bands, the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 enables you to connect to the internet and transmit data between devices through a mobile communication link when used with a nano-SIM card.

Installation:
Installing the nano-SIM Card (Figure A) Open the SIM card slot cover on the dongle, insert the nano-SIM card into the slot in the same direction as shown in the figure, and close the cover.

Installing the nano-SIM Card (Figure A):

  1. Open the SIM card slot cover on the dongle.
  2. Insert the nano-SIM card into the slot following the direction shown in the figure.
  3. Close the cover securely.

Connecting the Antennas:
The dongle uses TS-5 antenna ports. Use antenna cables with TS-5 connectors for connection. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna ports of the dongle and firmly secure the cables. The dongle uses TS-5 antenna ports.

Follow these steps:

  1. Use antenna cables with TS-5 connectors for connection.
  2. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna ports of the dongle.
  3. Firmly secure the cables in place.
  4. Make sure that both antenna cables are firmly connected and the cable routing is tidy to avoid squeezing the wires. Otherwise, it may affect the transmission performance or the use of related functions.
  5. The cable clip should be mounted to secure the antenna cables when using certain devices. Refer to the relevant document of the corresponding device for more information.

Connecting to a Device:
The dongle can connect to a computer or compatible DJI devices. Connect the USB-C port on the dongle to the corresponding port on a device using a compatible cable according to the port.

  • To connect the dongle to a device:
    Connect the USB-C port on the dongle to the corresponding port on a computer or compatible DJI device using a compatible cable.

Status Indicator Descriptions:
The dongle will automatically power on when the connected device is powered on. The status indicator indicates the current working status. Refer to the table below for more information. The status indicator provides information about the working status of the dongle:

Blinking Pattern Description
Solid red During startup or no nano-SIM card detected after startup.
Solid green Strong 4G signal in use.
Blinks green slowly Weak 4G signal in use.
Blinks green quickly 4G connection not established. Wait for

establishment/restart
the device/move to a location with a strong signal.
