Intended Use

This product is a rotary clothes airer designed for outdoor use only. It is intended for private use and not for commercial purposes. Modifying the product is prohibited as it may result in damage or other risks.

Assembly

Installation

Choose a location where the airer can rotate freely when spread out. If encasing the ground sleeve in concrete, insert the steel tube into the ground sleeve before the concrete hardens. Use a spirit level to ensure the vertical position of the product. Insert the column into the steel tube in the ground sleeve after the concrete has completely hardened.

This product is a rotary clothes airer. For outdoor use only. Modifying the product is prohibited and will result in damage. Misuse may also result in other life-threatening risks and injuries. Safety information

WARNING DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation.
WARNING RISK OF STRANGULATION AND SUFFOCATION! Never allow children to play with the packaging film or the washing line. Children can get entangled in them whilst playing and suffocate. The product must be stored out of the reach of children and in a closed room!

  • This product is not a toy. Please keep children away from the product. CAUTION! CRUSHING HAZARD! Be careful with your hands and fingers when opening or closing the product.
  • Check the product for any damages routinely and before each use. Do not use a damaged product.
  • Do not use the product for hanging or storing other items.
  • Only use the product on a level and stable surface and make sure it is firmly positioned.
  • Do not use the product in strong winds or storms.
  • Distribute the laundry evenly over the product when hanging it up. Never attempt to repair the product yourself. No replacement parts are included for this product.
  • Do not sit or lean on the product.
  • Do not exceed the product‘s maximum load capacity of 50 kg.
    If you would like to secure the ground sleeve into a lawn, make sure that the cap is just below ground level in order to prevent damage when mowing the lawn.

Installation

Choose a suitable location in which the product can freely rotate when spread out.

Encasing the ground sleeve in concrete

  • If you would like to set up the product in a location with a sandy, rocky or earthy surface, encase the ground sleeve 4 in concrete to ensure it is firmly positioned.
  • If you would like to secure ground sleeve 4 into a lawn, make sure that cap 5 is just below ground level in order to prevent damage when mowing the lawn (see Fig. A).
  • Dig a hole with a width of 26 cm and a depth of approx. 36 cm (see Fig. B).
  • Mix a fairly dry concrete mass with 3 parts gravel, 2 parts sand and 1 part cement.
  • Partially fill the hole with this concrete and position the ground sleeve  4 . The ground sleeve 4 must be just below the ground level (see Fig. C).
  • Hold the cap 5 in position so that no concrete gets into the ground sleeve 4 .
  • Insert the included steel tube 3 into the ground sleeve 4 before the concrete hardens. Then use a spirit level to check the vertical position of the product (see Fig. D).
    After the concrete mass has completely hardened, you can now insert the column 7 into the steel tube 3 in the ground sleeve 4 . To do so, remove the protective cover 6 from the column 7 .

You can now use the product.

Opening the product
To open the product, push the star component to encounter resistance and lock it into place.

Note : Make sure that the washing line 1 otherwise this prevents the product from spreading out.

Re-tightening the lines

  • To re-tighten the washing line 1, undo the knotted strings at the ends of the arms 2.
  • Pull the washing line 1 from bottom to top until it sits taut. Then firmly knot the washing line 1 again.

Closing the product

  • Remove all objects from the washing line 1.
  • Release the grip button 8 on the column.
  • Pull the star component 9 downwards as far as it will go.

Cleaning and care

  • Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
  • To maintain the product well, clean it using a damp cloth and soap.

Repair and maintenance

Repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by a qualified specialist in accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions.

Storage

  • Remove the product from the ground sleeve 4 and store it in a dry place that is protected from the wind and inaccessible to children. Secure the product to prevent it from falling over.

Disposal

  • The packaging is made of recyclable materials which may be disposed of through local recycling facilities. Contact your municipality for information on how to dispose of the product at the end of its useful life.
