Intended use
This article is intended to provide protection against insects such as flies
in private homes. Any use other than the one described above or modifications
to the product are not permitted and may result in injury and/ or damage to
the product. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting from
improper use or caused by assembly. This product is not intended for
commercial use. Operation at freezing temperatures may damage the product.

Never leave children alone or unattended in the vicinity of the product and
its packaging materials. The packaging and contents pose risks of suffocation,
strangulation and injury. Children are not aware of these dangers. Keep
children away from the product at all times. The product is not a toy.
WARNING! RISK OF FALLING! LIFE-THREATENING DANGER AND RISK OF INJURY,
PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN AND TODDLERS!
Do not lean against the product! This product is not a reliable exit barrier
and must not be used as a replacement for a closed window or door. The product
may give way if it is leaned against, creating a risk of falling. Insect
screens do not provide effective protection against falling out of windows or
doors. Keep children away from open windows and doors and never leave them
unattended.
The product should only be attached to windows and doors which can be accessed
safely due to the risk of falling. Do not lean out of the window / door or
against the product and do not push against the insect screen from inside when
attaching, removing or cleaning the product.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Incorrect assembly and the use of unsuitable
tools can present a risk of injury. Use work gloves if necessary.
The product should only be assembled and operated by individuals who have read
the instructions and who have the physical and mental capacity to assemble the
product safely by themselves. Incomplete assembly kits or damaged parts may
under no circumstances be used for assembly.
This could impair the operation and safety of the product. Keep the product
and all flammable parts away from heat sources and fire.
Assembly
Before assembly, make sure that your roller shutter is suitable for this
product and that it does not exceed the maximum dimensions. When lowering the
roller shutter by hand, make sure to stop it in good time when installing the
insect screen in order to avoid damage.
In order to avoid damage to roller shutters with motors WITHOUT obstacle
detection, make sure to stop them by hand. Switch off the automatic system for
roller shutters with automatic controls.
- Since the product is pre-assembled, no further assembly of the product needs to be carried out.
- Pull out the product until it fits into the roller shutter guide rails.
- Adjust the width of the insect screen so that the product is aligned with the opposite roller shutter guide rail.
- Change the height of the roller shutter for maximum protection.
Care and cleaning
- Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Clean the fabric and the frame with a lint-free, slightly damp cloth.
- Regularly take the retractable insect screen off the window and clean it thoroughly.
- If necessary, use a mild detergent.
Disposal
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials. Dispose of it using local recycling containers. You can find out how to dispose of the used up product by contacting your municipality or town council.
