Measuring Strip
Make sure you print at 100% scale!
Print out this page and cut out the measuring strip. At the expanded spot marked with an arrow, make a small cut at the indicated spot to create space for the opposite (narrower) end of the strip.
- Wrap the strip around your finger (numbers facing up), insert it into the slit, and pull the strip tight on your finger.
- The strip should not move freely on the finger after being pulled tight!
- You can then read your size from the strip at the slit.
- Ideally, have another person help you measure, and have them measure your finger with the strip.
Measuring Rings
If you want to choose a ring as a surprise, it is essential to compare the ring or just its outlined shape with the rings placed below. This is so that when you place the ring onto the ring image, you can see the edge of the printed ring, but not the white space between the outline of the printed ring and the ring (note! – watch the inner edge of the ring!).
Diameter Chart (values are in millimeters)
You can also determine the ring size by measuring the diameter of the ring or the diameter of an outlined shape of the ring, according to the table below. For accurate measurement, it is necessary to use a caliper!
