Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity. Although the ECLIPS™ s designed to be extremely durable with extra overload protection built nto the case, overloading will permanently damage it Avaid any exposure to extreme heat o cold, your scale works better when operated at norma room temperature. Keep your scale n lean environment. Dust, dirt, maisture, vibration,ar urtents and/or a close proximity to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect on the reliabilty and accuracy of your scale. Handle with care. Gently apply lltems to be weighed onto tray top. Avoid shaking, dropping orotherwise shockingthe cale. Scales are delcatenstruments and unikecelular phones, cals have delcat sensorsthat determine how much an tem welghs. Ifyou drop orshock your scale, these sensors“feel th shock and are sometimes destroyed. Thi happens with ll digta scales.We design our scals tobe as resistant to shock o drops s possible, however there i no way for s to protect 100% against load cell o sensor damage.
Failur tofollow these instructions willvoid your warranty.
Alwaysallow the scal to accimate to norma room temperature for atleast one hour before use. Give your scalesuffcient warm up time. Usually 30-60 seconds before calibration to give the ntemal components a chance to stabilize.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING THE BALANCE

  1. D0 not overload the scaleinorderto protect the sensorfrom damages.
  2. Items should aways be placed o the center oftheplatform when being weighed
  3. D0 ot drop or shack the scale
  4. Clean the scal with a damp dloth, DO NOT immerse the scale n water o use chemical/abrasve cleaning agents.

BATTERIES

Low Batteies & bad battery connections ae the #1 cause of scale malfunction and inaccuracy! Wetestalof our scale returns from consumers and 60% of them are battry related problems. Thi sounds silly but i’ truet A scale will prform poorly when it has low bateries. Use good quality batteries & replace them often ( Remove the batterie f you plan to stor the scale for longer then 14 days). Weinclude good quality batteries with all of our scales but they can run lowin storage. Ifyour scale simply won’t turn on while on battery power it often caused by loose battery connections.
Battery installation
a) Press and it open the battery cover located at the bottom of the unit.
b) Insert the batteries and make sure the polarty i correct
C ) Close the battery cover il it licksshut.
Note: Ifthe battery symbol appears i the display, it means low battery powr.Itstime to replacethe batteres

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Weighing Procedures

  1. Press[ ] totum on the scale
  2. Press [MIN/UNIT] to select a weighing unit g, oz, i, floz
  3.  Start weighing
  4.  Totum offthe scale, pess and hold [ ] for 3 seconds

Tare
Tare can be used for eliminating the weight value ofan empty container. Place an empty container on the scale an press [TAREL ] After 3 seconds place the tems to be weighed inthe container. NOTE:When allweight s emoved from the weighing tay th tared value o acontainer will b displayed as a negative number. ress [TARE] agin to retur the scaleto zero.

TIMER

  1. Press [ ] to turn on the timer.
  2.  Press [MIN/UNIT] to st the minute value, press [SEC] o st the second value,
  3. Next press [ ] to start or stop the timer.
  4. If you want to reset the timer, press [ ]for 2 seconds.

Auto OFF
‘The scale will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of non use.
