What’s Included
Using the Headphones

Add batteries to each pair of headphones. Open the battery compartment cover and insert two “AAA” batteries, ensuring that the + and – terminals are positioned correctly.

(The set requires a total of eight “AAA” batteries, not included.)
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. -
Insert the power adaptor into the DC input jack on the side of the transmitter. Plug the adaptor into an electrical outlet.

Connect the stereo cable to the audio cable on the transmitter, matching the red plug to the red socket and the white plug to the white socket.

Connect the yellow plug on the end of the stereo cable to an audio source, such as a CD player, an MP3 player, or a computer. Turn on the audio source.

Turn on the transmitter by sliding the ON/OFF switch to ON. Slide the channel switch to the desired channel. (The headphones will automatically search for the channel the transmitter is set to.)

If you have more than one Wireless Classroom Headphone Set, make sure each transmitter is set to a different channel. (continued on back)

Turn on the headphones by pressing the ON/OFF button. The power LED light will turn on. If you hear interference, press SCAN until the correct channel is selected. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level.

When the headphones are not in use, be sure to turn off the transmitter and the headphones. Slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF. Press the ON/OFF button on the headphones until the LED light goes out.

The headphones and transmitter will “remember” the last channel you were on, so you will not have to change it every time.

Remove the batteries before storing the headphones for a long period. Please note that removing the batteries from the headphones or unplugging the transmitter will reset the channel.

The channel memory feature will resume during subsequent uses.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you hear no sound, check
- Is the power adaptor plugged in correctly?
- Are the headphones turned on?
- Do the batteries need to be replaced?
- Is the volume on the headphones or audio source too low?
- Are the headphones on the correct channel?
If the sound quality is poor or distorted, check
- Do the batteries need to be replaced?
- Are the headphones out of the range of the transmitter?
- Is the channel set correctly?
- Are there multiple transmitters turned on to the same channel within close range?
