ACCUR8 YD8266WUK Weather Forecast Station
The ACCUR8 YD8266WUK Weather Forecast Station is a device that provides accurate weather information for your home. It has multiple functions such as radio-controlled time from the DCF time transmitter in Germany, alarm function, indoor temperature and humidity display, and three channels for the display of readings from outdoor temperature and humidity sensors. It also has a weather forecast indicated by six icons and a temperature and humidity trend indicator. The device has a color display and a low battery indicator for the outdoor sensor.
General Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before use. Keep the device away from water and moisture. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Do not use the device near other electronic devices or appliances. Keep the device out of reach of children.

Buttons and Display
The device has six buttons: SETUPDOWNCHMAX/MINSNZ/light. The SET button is used to enter Setup mode and Alarm Setting mode. The DOWN button is used to decrease settings. The CH button is used to re-register channels. The MAX/MIN button is used to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity. The SNZ/Light button is used to activate the backlight and adjust brightness.
Operating
Manual Time Setting
- In the Normal mode, press SET for three seconds to enter the Time Setting mode.
- Setting order: time zone, hour, minute, year, month, day, 12 / 24hr, exit.
- Press SET to confirm the setting result and move to the next setting item.
- Press Up to set the item one step further on; press and hold for longer than two seconds will advance at eight steps per second.
- Press Down, to set the item back one step; hold for more than two seconds, will be eight steps per second speed backwards.
- No settings within 20 seconds will save the settings and exit.
Alarm Setting

In the standard mode, press the SET button to view the alarm
time, press the UP or DOWN switch Alarm. -
In Alarm mode, press SET key for three seconds to enter Alarm setting state.

Set the order: set hours > set minutes > exit settings.

In the setting, press UP and DOWN to adjust the setting item, press SET to confirm.

Alarm time is two minutes. When the alarm is on, press SNZ/LIGHT will delay the alarm for five minutes, press the other key to exit the alarm.
Day of Week Display
The device displays the day of the week in English.
Weather Forecast
The device displays the weather forecast using six icons.

General Safety Instructions
Risk of electric shock
Only use the device as described in the manual; otherwise, you run the risk of
an electric shock.
- Children must only use the device under adult supervision.
- Disconnect the device from the power supply before starting any maintenance or cleaning of the device.
- Position your device so that it can be disconnected from the power supply at any time. The power socket should be installed near the device and should be easily accessible as the mains cable plug is used to disconnect the device from the power supply.
- Before starting up the device, check the device, the cables, and the connections for signs of damage.
- To disconnect the device from the power supply, always pull on the plug. Never pull on the cable.
- Never use a damaged device or a device with damaged live parts. Damaged parts must be replaced by an authorised service company.
- Only use the display console in a completely dry environment and do not touch it with wet or moist parts of your body.

Improper use of this product can result in suffocation, especially for
children. The following safety information must be observed at all times.
- Keep packaging materials (plastic bags, rubber bands etc.) away from children. They can cause suffocation.
- This product contains small parts that could be swallowed by children. There is a risk of choking.
Risk of fire/explosion
Improper use of this product can cause an explosion. The following safety
information must be observed at all times to prevent an explosion.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the supplied power supply or the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries or throw them into a fire. Excessive heat or improper handling could trigger a short circuit, a fire, or an explosion.
Risk of damage to property
Improper handling can result in damage to the device and/or to the
accessories. Always observe the following safety information when using the
device:
- Never disassemble the device. In the event of a fault, please contact your retailer.
- Do not expose this device to high temperatures and protect it from water and high humidity.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Protect the device from severe shocks or excessive vibrations.
- For this device, only use accessories and spare parts that comply with the technical information.
- Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from different brands or with different capacities. Remove the batteries from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.
- Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.

The manufacturer is not liable for voltage damage due to improperly inserted
batteries or through the use of an improper power adaptor.

Indoor Temperature
- Temperature range 0°C to 50°C
- Precision ± 1°C (0°C to 50°C)
- Resolution 0.1°C
If the temperature is below 0°C, the display shows ‘Lo’, if higher than 50°C, it shows ‘Hi’.
Indoor and Outdoor Humidity
- Humidity 20% to 99%
- Precision +/- 5 % RH (30%RH to 85%RH)
- Precision +/- 10% RH (20%RH to 30%RH and 85%RH to 99%RH)
- Resolution 1%RH
- If the humidity is below 20%, the display shows ‘Lo’, if higher than 99%, it shows ‘Hi’.
Outdoor Temperature
- Temperature range -40°C to 70°C
- Precision ± 1°C (0°C to 50°C), ± 2°C (-40°C to 0°C and 50°C to 70°C)
- Resolution 0.1°C
- If the temperature is below -40°C, the display shows ‘Lo’, if higher than 70°C, it shows ‘Hi’.
Buttons and Display
There are six buttons:SET,UP,DOWN,CH,MAX/MIN,SNZ/light

SET button
In the Time mode, press and hold for three seconds to enter Setup mode Press once to display ALARM, then press and hold for three seconds to enter the Alarm Setting mode. -
UP button
Single press UP button to select °C/°F In Setting mode, press eight steps/sec to increase. -
DOWN button
In Setting mode, press eight steps/sec to decrease -
CH button
In Normal mode, press and hold for three seconds to re-register, all channels are re-registered. -
MAX/MIN button
Single-click to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity In maximum and minimum modes, press and hold for three seconds to clear the maximum and minimum values. -
SNZ/Light button
In Battery mode, single-press the “SNZ / Light” button to activate backlight for 10 seconds In Adaptor mode: plugging in the adaptor automatically switches on the backlight, then “SNZ / LIGHT” button, then turn the backlight brightness HI-LO-OFF.
Operating
Radio-controlled Time Setting
Note: It can help to place the display console near an open window when
carrying out the steps below.
The display console can receive the radio-controlled time signal from the
DCF77 time transmitter in Germany. For many UK locations, the time needs to be
set manually, however you can check whether you are able to receive the radio-
controlled time signal:
In Setting mode, press and hold the DOWN button to start receiving the DCF
radio-controlled time signal.
When successfully receiving the DCF RCC signal, set the time zone for the UK:
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately three seconds to enter the Time Setting mode. Digits to be set will flash.
- Press the DOWN button once to set the time zone to “-1”.
- Exit the setting mode and the correct UK time will be shown.
Manual Time Setting
- In the Normal mode, press “SET” for three seconds to enter the Time Setting mode.
- Setting order: time zone, hour, minute, year, month, day, 12 / 24hr, exit
- Press “SET” to confirm the setting result and move to the next setting item
- Press “Up” to set the item one step further on; press and hold for longer than two seconds will advance at eight steps per second

Day of Week Display
Receiving the Remote Sensor (RF) Signal
- When powered on, the display automatically seeks to receive the RF signal for three minutes, and the antenna icon will flash.
- Once the signal is received, the display will receive the outdoor temperature and humidity at the same time.
- In standard mode, press CH once to change RF channels and CH on flashing at 1HZ. Order is CH1—CH2—CH3. Long press CH to re-register RF data.
- In the case of RF registration failure or missing code time for more than one hour, the temperature and humidity section will flash “–.-”.
Temperature Trend Indication
- When the temperature rises by 1°C / 2°F, the arrow points up
- When the temperature drops by 1°C / 2°F, the arrow points down
- If no change, there will be no arrow
- The temperature comparison is the current data with the data for the previous three hours. Data is recorded every 30 minutes.

Your home’s weather forecast is indicated by six icons.

- Batteries and rechargeable batteries are marked with a symbol of a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical symbol of the pollutant. “Cd” stands for Cadmium, “Hg” stands for mercury and “Pb” stands for lead.
