Product Usage Instructions
Connection for Soundbar Control
- Power up the Bluetooth to CAN Converter with a 12V power supply.
- Once powered up, the device is ready for connection.
- Click OFF to start Bluetooth device scanning.
- Select the desired device from the list and establish a connection.
- Access soundbar settings by clicking Soundbar.
- To control LED lights, click OFF.
Viewing Vehicle Information:
When connected, access vehicle information like battery status or fault codes through the app. Note that this feature requires an app upgrade and is not compatible with the soundbar control function.
Installation
- For EXCAR vehicles, connect the Bluetooth to the CAN Converter directly to the BMS or use extension wiring.
- For vehicles from other manufacturers, utilize an adapter cable for installation.
Troubleshooting
If the device shows two available devices, repower it to resolve the issue.

The Bluetooth to CAN Converter is a proprietary product developed by EXCAR (DONGGUAN EXCAR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CO., LTD). It incorporates CAN communication and offers numerous advantages, including compact size, wide voltage control, and low power consumption. Primarily designed for dashboard screen soundbar control, it can also serve to access vehicle information if needed.
Connection
- Control soundbar
- Power up the Bluetooth to the CAN Converter(12V power supply).
- Once powered up, the Bluetooth to CAN Converter is ready for connection.
- Click “OFF” to initiate Bluetooth device scanning. Upon completion of scanning, available Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
- Select the desired device and establish a connection. Once connected, the Bluetooth device will be indicated in the list.
- After Bluetooth connection, click the upper-right corner to return.
- Access soundbar settings by clicking “Soundbar.”
- Click OFF to control LED lights
- If the Bluetooth device was previously paired, it will automatically reconnect.
- To connect to a different device, simply power off the previously paired device.
View vehicle information
When the Bluetooth to CAN Converter is connected, vehicle information such as battery status or fault codes can be viewed on the app. (Note: Requires app upgrade and is not compatible with soundbar control function.)
Installation
- For vehicles manufactured by EXCAR, the Bluetooth to CAN Converter can be directly connected to the BMS or utilize extension wiring.
- For vehicles produced by other manufacturers, please use the adapter cable.
Trouble shooting
If the Bluetooth to CAN Converter powers up and shows two available devices, simply repower the device to resolve the issue.
