Safety instructions
Read this safety chapter and these original instructions before using the device for the first time. Act in accordance with them. Keep the original instructions for future reference or for future owners.
- In addition to the notes in the operating instructions, you also need to take into consideration the general safety regulations and accident prevention guidelines applicable by law.
- Warnings and information notices attached to the device provide important information for hazard-free operation.

Charger
DANGER
- Never touch the mains plug and socket with wet hands.
- Danger of explosion. Do not charge any non-rechargeable battery.
- Do not charge the battery pack in an explosion-hazard environment.
- Never insert conductive objects, e.g. screwdrivers or similar, into the charging socket on the appliance.
WARNING
-
Only charge the appliance using the original charger enclosed or with a charger approved by KÄRCHER.

Protect the power cable from heat, sharp edges, oil and moving parts.
-
Do not open the charger. .Repairs are only to be carried out by qualified personnel.
-
Only use the charger for charging approved battery packs.
-
Immediately replace a damaged charger together with charging cable with an original part.
-
The appliance contains electrical components – do not clean the appliance under running water.
-
You may not charge the battery pack for longer than 24 hours without interruption.
CAUTION -
Do not use the battery pack when dirty or wet.

Keep the charger ventilation slits free of obstructions.

Do not pull the mains plug out the socket using the power supply cable.

Do not carry/transport the device using the power supply cable.
ATTENTION -
Short circuit hazard. Protect the contacts of the battery pack from metal parts.

Only use and store the charger in dry rooms.
Battery
DANGER

Never insert conductive objects, e.g. screwdrivers or similar, into the charging socket on the appliance.

Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight, heat or fire.
ATTENTION -
This device contains non-replaceable batteries. Does not apply to appliances with a replaceable battery pack
Safe handling
WARNING

The device is not intended for use by children, persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or persons unfamiliar with these instructions.

Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and persons lacking experience and knowledge may only use the appliance if they are properly supervised, have been instructed on use of the appliance safely by a person responsible for their safety, and understand the resultant hazards involved.

Children must not play with the appliance.

Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

Only use the device for its proper use. Take into account the local conditions and beware of third parties, in particular children, when working with the device.

Adhere to the respective safety regulations in hazard zones (e.g. service stations). Never operate the device in explosive spaces.

Do not spray any objects which contain harmful substances (e.g. asbestos).

Risk of injury. Do not direct the spray jet onto the eyes.
CAUTION -
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped beforehand, is visibly damaged or if it is leaking.

Only operate or store the device in accordance with the description or figure.

Never leave the device unsupervised while it is in operation.

In order to guarantee stability, place the device on a firm, flat surface.

Accidents or damage due to the device falling over. Before all actions with or on the device, you must make sure that it is stable.
ATTENTION -
Do not fill with any cleaning agents or other supplements.

Device damage. Never fill the water reservoir with solvents, liquids containing solvents or undiluted acids (e.g. detergents, petrol, paint thinners and acetone).

Device damage due to dry running. Only switch on the device when water is present in the water reservoir.

Do not operate the device at temperatures below 0 °C.
Intended use
Use the low pressure cleaner in private households only. The low pressure
cleaner is intended for cleaning machines, vehicles, tools, façades, terraces,
garden machines, pets etc. using a low-pressure water stream without
additional detergents.
Environmental protection
**** The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in
accordance with the environmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and
often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which – if
handled or disposed of incorrectly – can pose a potential danger to human
health and the environment.
However, these components are required for the correct operation of the
device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of
together with the household rubbish.
Cleaning work producing in oily waste water, e.g. washing engines, washing
undercarriages etc., may only be performed at washing stations with an oil
separator.
Working with detergents may only be performed on watertight surfaces with
connection to the waste water sewage system. Do not allow detergent to enter
waterways or the soil.
Extraction of water from public waterways is not permitted in some countries.

Scope of delivery

Safety devices
CAUTION
Missing or modified safety devices
Safety devices are provided for your own protection.
Never modify or bypass safety devices.
ON/OFF button
The ON/OFF button prevents unintentional operation of the device.
Pressure switch
If the trigger of the low pressure gun is released, the pressure switch turns
off the pump and the low pressure stream is stopped. The pump switches on
again when the trigger is pressed.
Motor circuit breaker
The motor circuit breaker shuts off the device if power consumption it too
high.
Symbols on the device
Do not immerse the device in liquids.
Do not scoop any liquids.

Initial startup

Unfold the water reservoir, see chapter Establishing the water supply.

Charge the battery.
a Release the cover from the charging socket and swing it upwards.
b Plug the USB-C plug of the charging cable into the charging socket.
c Plug the USB-A plug of the charging cable into the charger.
d Plug the charger into a mains socket.

Note
The charging state LED flashes during the charging process. It lights up for 10 min. when the battery is fully charged. For charging time, see chapter Technical data. After charging -
Pull the charger out of the mains socket.

Pull the USB-C plug out of the charging socket.
-
Swivel the cover on the charging socket downwards and press it firmly.
Establishing the water supply
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to improper water supply
Damage to the device and accessories.
Only fill the water reservoir with clean and clear water.
Do not fill the water reservoir with any detergents, pesticides or other
additives. Do not immerse the device in liquids.
Do not scoop any liquids with the device.
-
Unfold the water reservoir:
a Remove the lid from the water reservoir.
b Keep the bottom of the water reservoir pressed down with your hand.
c Pull the carrying handle upwards with the other hand.

Hang the lid on the water reservoir.

Remove the low-pressure gun and the low-pressure hose as far as possible from the water reservoir.

Fill clean and clear water into the water reservoir up to the “MAX” mark at the most. Illustration E

Attach the lid to the water reservoir.
Note
Guide the low-pressure hose through the recess in the cover so as not to pinch it.

For one-handed transport, press the low-pressure hose on the carrying handle into the two clamp hold- ers.

Operation
- Place the device on a level, horizontal surface.
Operation without detergent
ATTENTI N
Risk of damage if dry running!
Dry running damages the pump of the device.
Do not switch on the device if no water is present in the water reservoir.
Switch off the device as soon as the water reservoir is empty.
Switch off the device if it does not build up pressure within 2 minutes. Then
proceed according to the instructions in chapter
Troubleshooting guide.

Press the ON/OFF button.
The device switches on.

CAUTION
Risk of injury from spray jet!
The spray jet may cause injury to eyes and ears.
Do not aim the spray jet at the eyes or ears of people or animals. -
Pull the trigger and carry out the cleaning process.
Note
Approx. 2 min before the end of the operating time (see chapter Technical data), the operating status LED starts flashing. Charge the battery as soon as possible, see chapter Battery charging.
Operation with detergent
DANGER
Risk to life and health when handling cleaning agents!
Improper handling of detergents can lead to death and serious damage to
health.
Observe the safety data sheet of the detergent manufacturer, in particular the
instructions on personal protective gear.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to foreign substances in the water reservoir!
Foreign substances in the water reservoir will damage the device.
Do not fill the water reservoir with any detergents, pesticides or other
additives.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to detergents acting too long and drying out! Detergent can
damage hot surfaces and damage surfaces if left to act for too long. Do not
apply detergent to hot surfaces and observe the maximum contact time. Do not
allow detergent to dry on the surfaces being cleaned.

Spray the detergent sparingly on the dry surfaces and let it work for a while (do not let it dry).
ATTENTION
Risk of damage if dry running!
Dry running damages the pump of the device.
Do not switch on the device if no water is present in the water reservoir.
Switch off the device as soon as the water reservoir is empty.
Switch off the device if it does not build up pressure within 2 minutes. Then proceed according to the instructions in chapter
Troubleshooting guide. -
Press the ON/OFF button.
The device switches on.

The spray jet may cause injury to eyes and ears.
Do not aim the spray jet at the eyes or ears of people or animals. -
Pull the trigger and carry out the cleaning process.
Note

Interrupting operation
- Release the trigger.
After another 30 minutes without being pressed, the device shuts off automatically.
Ending operation

Press the ON/OFF button.
The device switches off. -
Empty out the water remaining in the water reservoir.

Press the ON/OFF button.
The device switches on. -
Actuate the trigger until no more water is emitted.
-
Release the trigger.
-
Press the ON/OFF button.
The device switches off. -
Allow the water reservoir to dry completely.
-
Press the water reservoir down to fold it and make it smaller.
-
Stow the hose and the low-pressure gun in the water reservoir.
-
Stow the charger and the charging cable in the water reservoir.
-
Attach the lid to the water reservoir.
Transport
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage
Be aware of the weight of the device during transportation.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to escaping water!
The lid of the water reservoir is not watertight, water escaping during
transport can cause damage to property. Carry the device with care if water is
present in the water reservoir. Empty the water reservoir completely before
transporting
the device in avehicle.
- Observe regulations for dangerous goods during transport.
Manual transport
- Lift up the device by the carrying handle, and carry it.
Transport in vehicles
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage!
There is a risk of injury and damage due to tipping and sliding of the device
during transport.
Before transporting the device in vehicles, secure it against slipping and
tipping over in accordance with the applicable guidelines.
- Finish operation, see chapter Ending operation.
- Before transporting the device, stow it away or se- cure it against sliding, tipping and being thrown around.
Storage
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage!
If the weight of the device is not observed, there is a risk of injury and
damage.
Be aware of the weight of the device during storage.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to frost!
An incompletely emptied device can be damaged by frost.
Completely empty the device and accessories before storing them.
Protect the device from frost.
Store the device in a frost-free place and not outdoors.
- Finish operation, see chapter Ending operation.
- Place the device in a closed room on a flat surface and store it within the permitted ambient temperature, see chapter Technical data.
Care and service
DANGER
Touching live parts
Danger of injury from electric shock Switch off the device and unplug the
charger from the device before performing any work on the device.
Cleaning the fine filter
Clean the fine filter regularly.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage due to improper cleaning!
The fine filter is damaged by improper cleaning.
Clean the fine filter only under running water against its flow direction.
Do not use sharp or hard objects such as needles or wire brushes.

Drain the water reservoir.

Pull out the fine filter.

DANGER
Touching live parts
Danger of injury from electric shock
Switch off the device and unplug the charger from the device before performing
any work on the device.
Have repair work and work on electrical components carried out by the
authorised customer service only. Malfunctions often have simple causes that
you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the
case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorised
Customer Service.

Device does not reach required pressure| Not enough water in the water
reservoir.| 1. Make sure that there is enough clean, clear water in the water
reservoir.
The fine filter is dirty.| 1. Clean the fine filter, see chapter Cleaning
the fine filter.
Strong pressure fluctuations or constant switch- ing off/on of the device| The
nozzle is clogged.| 1. Clean the nozzle: Remove contamination and debris
from the nozzle hole, using a needle and rinse with clean, clear water from
the front.
2. Make sure that there is enough clean, clear water in the water
reservoir.
The device is leaking| The device leaks a small amount for technical reasons.|
1. In case of more serious leaks, have the de- vice checked by KÄRCHER
Service.
