Safety Precautions
Read Safety Precautions Before Installation
Incorrect installation due to ignoring instructions can cause serious damage or injury.
The seriousness of potential damage or injuries is classified as either a WARNING or CAUTION.
This symbol indicates that ignoring instructions may cause moderate injury to person, or damage to your unit or other property.
CAUTION
1. Install drainage piping according to the instructions in this manual.
Improper drainage may cause water damage to your home and property.
2. Never insert your finger or a stick, etc into the air inlet or outlet.
Doing so coud cause damage to the unit or injury.
3. The product must be properly grounded at the time of installation, or
electrical shock may occur.
This symbol indicates that you must never perform the action indicated.
DO NOT
- Do not modify the length of the power supply cord or use an extension cord to power the unit.
- Do not share the electrical outlet with other appliances. Improper or insufficient power supply can cause fire or electrical shock.
- Do not let any substances or gases other than the specified refrigerant when connecting the refrigerant piping to enter the unit. The presence of other gases or substances will lower the unit capacity and can cause abnormally high pressure in the refrigeration cycle. this can cause explosion and injury.
- Do not allow children to play with the air conditioner. Children must be supervised around the unit at all times.
- Do not obstruct the air inlet or outlet of the indor or outdoor unit. Obstruction of these openings causes a reduction of the operative efficiency of the air conditioner with possible consequent failures or damages
- Do not install the unit in a location that may be exposed to combustible gas leaks. If combustible gas accumulates around the unit, it may cause fire.
- Do not operate your air conditioner in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry room. Too much exposure to water can cause electrical components to short circuit.
Safety Precautions
WARNING
This symbol indicates that ignoring instructions may cause death or serious injury.
1. Installation must be performed according to the installation instructions.
Improper installation can cause water leakage, electrical shock, or fire.
2. Contact an authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this
unit.
3. Only use the included accessories, parts, and specified parts for
installation. Using non– Standard parts can cause water leakage, electrical
shock, fire, and can cause the unit to fail.
4. Install the unit in a firm location that can support the unit s weight. If the chosen location cannot support the unit s weight, or the installation is not done properly, the unit may drop and cause serious injury and damage.
5. Always operate the unit with air filter mounted. The use of air conditioner
without a filter could cause an ecessive accumulation of dust and lint on the
coil & inner parts of the device with possible subsequent failures
6. For all electrical work, follow all local and national wiring standards,
regulations, and the Installation Manual. You must use an independent circuit
and single outlet to supply power. Do not connect other appliances to the same
outlet. Insufficient electrical capacity or defects in electrical work can cause
electrical shock or fire.
7. For all electrical work, use the specified cables. Connect cables tightly,
and clamp them securely to prevent external forces from damaging the terminal.
Improper electrical connections can overheat and cause fire, and may also cause
shock.
8. All wiring must be properly arranged to ensure that the control board
cover can close properly. If the control board cover is not closed properly,
it can lead to corrosion and cause the connection points on the terminal to
heat up, catch fire, or cause electrical shock.
9. In certain functional environments, such as kitchens, server rooms, etc.,
the use of specially designed air-conditioning units is highly recommended.
10. Electrical i nstallation, service, maintenance and repair of this unit
must be performed by a certified technician. Disconnect the power support to
the air conditioning system during the procedure.
Note about Fluorinated Gasses
1. T his air-conditioning unit contains fluorinated gasses. For specific information on the type of of gas and the amount, please refer to the relevant label on the unit itself.
3. Product uninstallation and recycling must be performed by a certified
technician.
4. I f the system has a leak-detection system installed, it must be checked
for leaks at least every 12 months.
5. W hen the unit is checked for leaks, proper record-keeping of all checks
is strongly recommended
Accessories
The air conditioning system comes with the following accessories. Use all of the installation parts and accessories to install the air conditioner. Improper installation may result in water leakage, electrical shock and fire, or cause the equipment to fail.
The accessories described herein may be different for each model and the list is for reference only.
Air Conditioning Unit – Main Parts

Note: the above figures are only intended to be a simple diagram of the appliance and may not correspond to the appearance of the units that have been purchased.
INDOOR UNIT DISPLAY
The shape and position of switches and indicators may be different according to the model, but their function is the same.
According to the model, it may only show 2 numbers on the indoor display though there are 3 numbers on display of the remote controller. (Example: it is on the display of the remote controller but on the indoor display )
EMERGENCY FUNCTION & AUTO-RESTART FUNCTION
EMERGENCY FUNCTION
If the remote controller fails to work or maintenance necessary, proceed as
following:
Open and lift the front panel up to an angle to reach the emergency button.
For heating model, press the emergency button at first time, the unit will
operate in COOL mode. Press at second time within 3 seconds, the unit will
operate in HEAT mode. Press at third time after 5 seconds, the unit will turn
off.
For cooling only model, press the emergency button at the first time, the unit
will operate in COOL mode. Press again, the unit will turn off.
AUTO-RESTART FUNCTION
The appliance is preset with an auto-restart function. In case of a sudden power failure, the module will memorizes the setting conditions before the power failure. When the power restores, the unit will restart automatically with the previous settings preserved by the memory function.
REMOTE CONTROL
- The display and some functions of the remote control may vary according to the model.
- The shape and position of buttons and indicators may vary according to the model, but their function is the same.
- The unit confirms the correct reception of each button with a beep.

Remote control DISPLAY
Meaning of symbols on the liquid crystal display
The display and some functions of the remote control may vary according to the model.
Replacement of Batteries
Remove the battery cover plate from the rear of the remote control, by sliding
it in the direction of the arrow. Install the batteries according the
direction (+and -)shown on the Remote Control.
Reinstall the battery cover by sliding it into place.
Use 2 pieces LRO3 AAA (1.5V) batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Replace the old batteries with new ones of the same type when the display is
no longer legible. Do not dispose batteries as unsorted municipal waste.
Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
For some model, each time when insert the batteries in the remote controller for the first time, you need to set the Cooling only or Heating pump control type. As soon as you insert the batteries, the symbols ( ) and ( ) start flashing, operate as below,
1. When the ( ) is displayed, push any button, to set the Cooling only type
remote controller.
2. When the ( ) is displayed, push any button, to set the Heating pump type
remote controller.
NOTE: If you set the remote control in cooling mode, it will not be possible to activate the heating function in units with a heating pump . If you need to reset, take out the batteries and install again.
For some model of remote controller, you can program the temperature display between OC and OF.
1. Press and hold the TURBO button over (5seconds) to get into the change
mode;
2. Press and hold the TURBO button, until it switch to OC and OF;
3. Then release the pressing and wait for 5 seconds, the function will be
selected.
1. Direct the remote control toward the Air conditioner.
2. Check that there are no objects between the remote control and the Signal
receptor in the indoor unit.
3. Never leave the remote control exposed to the rays of the sun.
4. Keep the remote control at a distance of at least 1m from the television
or other electrical appliances.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Attention : Before starting up or operating the air conditioner for the first time, confirm the service valves are open.
PROTECTION
The protective device may stop the appliance, when the ambient temperature is off range as listed below.
After stopping and restarting the air conditioner or after changing the mode during operation, the system does not restart immediately, until after 3 minutes(protection function for the compressor).
