1D Wired Barcode Scanner

The 1D Wired Barcode Scanner is a device used to scan and decode
barcodes. It supports various barcode types and has multiple
settings that can be customized according to the user’s needs.

Product Usage Instructions

Restore Defaults

The device can be restored back to its default factory settings
by scanning the “Restore Defaults” barcode in the manual.

Trigger Mode

The device has two trigger modes, continuous mode or key
trigger. To switch between modes, scan the corresponding barcode in
the manual.

Buzzer Setup

The device can be set to produce a sound when a barcode is
scanned. The sound volume and type can be adjusted by scanning the
corresponding barcode in the manual.

End Mark

An end mark can be added to the end of a scanned barcode to
indicate the end of the code. The type of end mark can be adjusted
or turned off by scanning the corresponding barcode in the
manual.

Capital & Lowercase Setup

The device can be set to swap capital and lowercase letters or
change all letters to uppercase or lowercase. The settings can be
adjusted by scanning the corresponding barcode in the manual.

Reverse Code Reading(black background)

The device can read barcodes that are printed on a black
background by reversing the code reading. This setting can be
turned on or off by scanning the corresponding barcode in the
manual.

Barcode Types

The device supports various barcode types including UPCA, UPCE,
EAN8, EAN13, ISBN, ISSN, CODE 39, CODE 32, CODE 128, CODE 93, CODE
11, CODABAR, Industrial 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI, GS1
Omnidirectional, GS1 Limited and Febran. The settings and options
for each barcode type can be adjusted by scanning the corresponding
barcode in the manual.

Language Setup

The device supports multiple languages which can be selected by
scanning the corresponding barcode in the manual.

Add Prefix/Suffix

A prefix or suffix can be added to the beginning or end of a
scanned barcode respectively. The prefix or suffix can be set by
scanning the corresponding barcode in the manual.

Barcode Table

A table of barcodes and their corresponding settings is provided
in the manual for reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

A list of frequently asked questions and their answers is
provided in the manual.

Frequently ask question
The bar codes in the user manual are for programming , please dont scan them arbitrarily when no need , otherwise may affect the normal use of the product .
Please try to scan “Restore defaults “bar code in the user manual for a try if the scanner cannot use normally ; if problem still not resolve , please try following methods . Problem 1: the scanner doesn’t have electricity to start on. Reason: 1. the cable interface loosed , please fixed connection interface. 2. the computer front USB port power supply shortage , please replace the computer interface or change another to try. 3. used the incorrect cables , please use the origina cable which the factory is equipped with 4. cable fault , please send back to the factory repair.
Problem 2 : the scanner has laser , but can’t read the barcode. Reason : 1. barcode has flawed , and try to scan the same type barcodes for testing again . 2. the scanning mode is not correct , scanning laser need to completely cover the barcode , if still can’t read , please adjust the scanning distance and Angle , the scanner can’t read the barcode at 90 “angle . 3. the scanner did not open the corresponding code system , it has to scan the barcode after open the corresponding code system.
Problem 3 : the scanner has laser and it can read barcode , but can’t upload the data Reason : 1. The scanner has set up the incorrect output mode , please set the correct output mode refer to the manual. 2. the cable transmission failure , please replace the cable.
Problem 4: the scanner has laser and it can read barcode . but It uploads the wrong decoding barcode. Reason : the keyboard layout of the scanner is different with the country you used , please use the scanner to read the keyboard settings on the manual.
