Use the handset
Speaking in the Push-To-Talk (PTT) group: Hold the mute button for 3 seconds pressed to activate PTT. As soon PTT is activated you can speak by pressing the mute key or selection key to push. As soon as you release the key the voice connection is closed. Listen via speaker: When PTT is activated everything works communication over the speaker of the handset. Do you want PTT temporarily? turn it off, follow the steps below steps. Disable Push-To- Talk: Go to Menu > Settings > Intercom > OFF. Or click “more” once PTT is active and then press “Leave”. You does not receive incoming messages more and you can no longer speak in the group. Enable Push-To-Talk: Go to Menu > Settings > Intercom > ON. You receive again messages and can speak again yourself the group.
- Increase volume: Press the volume + button.
- Decrease volume: Press the volume button.
- Switch on the handset: Press the red hang-up button once.
- Turn off the handset: Press the red hang-up key for 5 seconds.
Register handset to base station
- Switch on the handset. The handset registers automatically within 1 minute. If this if not, go to the next one point.
- Go to Menu > Connection > Login > Enter access code “0000” and press press “OK”. Then turn on the handset once off and on. Don’t forget to check the activate PTT. See instructions “Push-To-Talk switch”
- If the handset does not register within 1 minute please contact Lumidee.
