SAFETY FIRST
Electrical measuring instruments, prior still to fulfilling their purpose, must consider operator safety as a basic requirement in terms of protection against temporary overvoltages that may arise due to the presence of complex electrical loads, short-circuit situations, lightening strikes, etc. To this end, the international standard IEC 61010-1, harmonized in Europe as EN 61010-1, has set out specific requirements that must be satisfied by electrical equipment designed for LV measurements (<1000VAC), creating four “Overvoltage Categories” that define the level of protection against the voltage transients of each instrument, depending on its distance from the power source. Instruments belonging to the highest category require greater internal protection insofar as they can operate close to the source.

FEATURES
AC/DC current up to 1000A, DC voltage up to 1500V, inrush current measurement, LoZ low-impedance voltage input, resistance and continuity, capacitance and diode test, temperature with K-probe, colour display, external transducer input for measurements up to 3000A.
MACROTESTG3 An instrument that encompasses all industrial plant tests, including insulation, continuity, earth measurement, RCD and fault loop impedance. Moreover, using the RCDX10 accessory allows split toroid RCD measurements up to 10 A.

CIRCUIT ANALYSERS

THERMAL IMAGERS
THT80 / THT200 / THT300 Thermal imaging today is an essential tool for detecting anomalies and preventing faults in industrial plants, in particular on electrical parts (switches, cables, transformers) and mechanical parts (motors, bearings, busbars). Another advantage of this process is the non- invasive nature of thermal imaging, allowing contact-free (and, therefore, safe) measurements on components, in addition to the generation of reports, making it possible to keep track of the detected faults and problems.
HT ITALIA offers a vast range of thermal imaging solutions, including entry- level models for close distances such as the THT80, and models with state-of- the-art resolution for more advanced diagnostics. Given the very high temperatures of certain environments such as foundries and steel mills, HT ITALIA has designed two specific models able to detect temperatures up to 1200°C.
