WARNING
Use this fixture with a 24V DC power supply only (sold separately). Any other power supply may damage the fixture.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons, use this flexible light only with American Lighting/Prizm recommended drivers, controllers, power connectors, splices and extensions.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons,  make sure that the electrical power to the fixture is disconnected at the source prior to installation or any servicing.

SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Read all installation instructions before beginning; if not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, pay close attention to this manual and stay within its guidelines when using this product. Save these instructions for future use.
  • Do not cover this product as the covering may cause product to overheat, melt, or ignite.
  • Risk of fire or electric shock. Uncoil flexible light prior to plugging in. Do not operate Sēnik Flex while it is tightly coiled.
  • Do not route the cord or Sēnik Flex through walls, ceilings, doors, windows, or any similar part of the building structure.
  • Secure this flexible light using only factory recommended mounting clips or channel (PZM-SFLEX-SW-CHAN-CLIP or PZM-SFLEX-SW-CHAN-1M for static white type, PZM-SFLEX-RGBW-CHAN-CLIPS or PZM-SFLEX-RGBW-CHAN-1M for RGBW type), sold separately.
  • Do not secure this product or its cord with staples, nails, or like means that may damage the outer jacket or cord insulation.
  • Do not use if there is any damage to the PU housing or power cord insulation. Inspect periodically.
  • Do not install on gates or doors, where subject to continuous flexing.
  • Do not install near flammable liquids or other flammable materials.
  • Follow instructions carefully when cutting Sēnik Flex. Ensure all end caps are properly sealed with appropriate silicone or PU type glue.
  • This product is not intended to be cut in the field. If a shorter length of Sēnik Flex is required, please contact American Lighting directly for information on our Custom Cut program. Any cuts, connections, or sealed ends that are made by anyone other than an American Lighting Custom Cut representative will void the warranty.
  • This product is designed for use by a qualified installer.
  • This product is for decorative use only. Not to be used by children as a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.
  • Do not exceed 10.05 meters or 33 feet maximum run distance in any single inter-connected run.
  • Size your 24V DC driver appropriately for your run distance of Sēnik Flex using 10W per meter or 3.05W per foot as a guide. Be sure not to load any driver to 100% as this will reduce its efficiency. A 90% maximum load is recommended for driver longevity.
  • The rated ambient temperature range for Sēnik Flex is -20°C (-4°F) to 40°C (104°F).
  • The maximum bend radius of PZM-SFLEX series product is 30cm or 11.8”. Do not twist, drop, hang, sag, or bend product in any way other than intended. WARNING

When using outdoor portable lighting products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including the following:

  • Use outdoor rated UV-Cure type glue at all power and linking connections, including end cap, especially when using outdoors.
  • Use ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) when using outdoors.
  • Use only UL approved outdoor extension cords, such as type SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW, SJOW, SJTW, or SJTOW. This designation is marked on the jacket of the extension cord.

MOUNTING SĒNIK FLEX:

Disconnect power at the source prior to attempting installation or service of product.

VIA MOUNTING CLIPS (Figure 2):

  1. Determine locations for mounting clips. Best practices include using at least one mounting clip for every foot of Sēnik Flex.

  2. Attach the mounting clips to the mounting surface using the screws included.

  4. Determine the locations for the screws to be used when mounting.
    Channel can be mounted either directly to the mounting surface, via static clips, or via adjustable clips.

  5. Attach the aluminum channel to the surface using screws (not included), or attach the aluminum channel mounting clips to the mounting surface using the screws included, then clip the aluminum channel into the mounting clips.

CUTTING SĒNIK FLEX:

This product is not intended to be cut in the field. If a shorter length of Sēnik Flex is required, please contact American Lighting directly for information on our Custom Cut program. Any cuts, connections, or sealed ends that are made by anyone other than an American Lighting Custom Cut representative will void the warranty.

CONNECTING POWER (Figures 4 & 5):
Disconnect power at the source prior to attempting installation or service of product. Use this fixture with appropriate 24V DC power supply only. Any other power supply may damage the fixture.

  1. Connect a 24V DC power supply to the beginning of the Sēnik Flex run using the conkit attached in the previous section.

  2.  Connect the 24V DC power supply to line voltage. Single color Sēnik Flex does not require a controller, however, RGBW Sēnik Flex will require a form of RGBW control for color changing capability. CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

  1. For cleaning, use a soft, dry or damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
