Bluetooth Connection Instructions

Unfold the keyboard and securely attach the back of the iPad tablet to the magnetic casing of the keyboard.

Power On: Press the power button for 2 seconds or more to activate the
keyboard. The blue pairing indicator light and power indicator light will stay
on for 3 seconds, then turn off, and the dynamic backlight will be activated.
The keyboard is now ready for use.
Power Off: Press the power button for 2 seconds or more to turn off the
keyboard. The backlight and all indicator lights will turn off, and the
keyboard will stop functioning.

Bluetooth Pairing: Press and hold the Pairing button (usually denoted as “ + ” or “Pair”) for 3 seconds. The Bluetooth pairing blue light will start flashing slowly. The pairing process lasts for 120 seconds. Once the pairing is successful, the blue light will turn off. If the pairing is not successful, after 120 seconds, the backlight and other indicator lights will all turn off, and the keyboard will enter sleep mode. Press any key to wake up the keyboard, and then proceed with the pairing process again.

4. Enable the Bluetooth setting switch on your tablet and locate the “ProtoArc TABK400” in the Bluetooth settings. Click on it to initiate pairing and establish a successful connection.
Tips:
- For initial use, press the power button on the keyboard for 2 seconds to turn it on. The Bluetooth indicator light and the power indicator light will both illuminate for 3 seconds and then turn off, activating the dynamic backlight. The keyboard will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- To restore default settings: Simultaneously press and hold the C+R-FL keys for more than 3 seconds. The two blue lights will flash slowly three times together. The keyboard will automatically clear the historical pairing information and enter the factory default state.

Touchpad Gestures
Single-finger tap:
Functions as the left mouse button.
Two-finger click:
Functions as the right mouse button.
Two-finger swipe up/down:
Functions as the mouse scroll wheel.
Two-finger swipe left/right:
Switches between desktop pages.
Two-finger pinch/spread:
Zoom in/out.
Three-finger slow swipe up:
Switches to the recent tasks window. When the cursor is on a relevant window,
a two-finger upward swipe can delete the most recent task window.
Three-finger fast swipe up:
Returns to the main interface.
Three-finger swipe left/right:
Switches between active windows.
Tip: The touchpad will not work when a keyboard key is pressed. Release the key to use the touchpad.
Keyboard Charging
- When the battery is low, the low battery indicator light will start flashing red until the keyboard shuts down.
- Plug the USB-A end into the computer interface and the Type-C end into the keyboard to charge. The orange indicator light will remain solid during charging.
- It takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for a full charging cycle. Once the keyboard is fully charged, the charging indicator light will automatically turn green.

Sleep Mode
- When the keyboard remains idle for more than 90 seconds, it will automatically enter sleep mode, and the keyboard backlight and its indicator lights will turn off. When the keyboard remains idle for more than 10 minutes, it will automatically enter deep sleep mode.
- To wake up the keyboard, simply press any key on the keyboard, and it will be ready within 3 seconds. The indicator light will light up again.
FAQ
1.Unable to connect, keyboard not working?
(1) Please charge the keyboard immediately.
(2) Delete the history of connected devices in the Bluetooth settings of your
iPad tablet. After resetting the Touch Keyboard by pressing and holding C+R+L,
turn on the Bluetooth switch in the iPad settings again and find the Bluetooth
name “ProtoArc TABK400” to establish the connection.
(3) If the issue persists, try restarting your iPad and follow the
instructions in the manual to attempt the Bluetooth connection again.
2. Touchpad not responsive?
(1) The product is designed to prevent accidental touches (the touchpad does
not work when the keyboard keys are pressed; it becomes active after releasing
the keys for 500ns). This phenomenon is normal.
(2) Please open the touch gesture settings for the Touch Keyboard – Settings –
General Gestures. You can also adjust the tracking speed of the touchpad.
