Introduction
The Omegon Powerbank series sets a new bar as portable power source for your
telescope mount and other astronomy or astrophotography equipment.
The huge capacity is enough to supply a simple telescope mount for several
nights or a power hungry and high-end astrophotography setup for many hours.
The rugged housing comes complete with port covers and protective bag to
ensure the powerbank is always safe.

Charging Your Powerbank
- Recharge the powerbank only at room temperature.
- Use only the supplied charger. Use of a third party charger is not recommended.
- Plug the charger into a wall socket or another 100V-240V AC power source.
- Connect the Charger to the input port (IN) of the powerbank.
- Press the power button. The powerbank will start to recharge. The LED lights display the current charging status.
- The Omegon Pro Powerbanks (Art.Nr. 69822, 69823) can also be charged via USB-C (PD)
Using The Powerbank
Using the powerbank as flashlight or emergency light:
Omegon Powerbank 38000:
- Press the power button shortly to activate the powerbank.
- Press and hold the power button for ca. 4 seconds to active/deactivate a red and flashing emergency light.
- Double press the power button to activate/deactivate a white flashlight
Omegon Pro Powerbank 48000 / 96000
- Press the power button shortly to activate the powerbank.
- Hold the power button for ca. 4 seconds to active/deactivate a white flashlight.
- Double press the power button to activate/deactivate a flashing emergency light.
Using the powerbank to power your telescope mount or other 12V devices:
- Most telescope mounts are supplied with a cigarette lighter plug. Connect it to the cigarette lighter socket of the powerbank. Ensure a secure fit.
- The powerbank will automatically activate and power the connected device. The LED lights will display the remaining charge.
Using the powerbank to charge or power a Phone/Tablet or other 5V USB device:
- Plug the USB cable of the device into one of the USB ports.
- Connect the USB cable to your device (Smartphone, Tablet, etc.)
- Press the power button on the powerbank. Your device is now charging.
The powerbank is fitted with an automatic trip switch. If a device draws too much power at any time, the internal protection circuit will activate. To reset, unplug all devices and connect the powerbank to the charger.
Usage Notes
- To protect the long-term capacity of your powerbank, please unplug the charger promptly after the device is fully charged.
- Keep the powerbank away from extreme heat or cold, as well as any flammable items. Avoid impacts on hard surfaces.
- Don’t submerge the powerbank in water. Protect it from strong dew.
- Run a full charge/discharge cycle at least once every four months to avoid shortening the life span of the internal battery.
- Keep the powerbank at approximately 50% charge for long-term storage.
- Avoid charging and discharging the powerbank at the same time, as it will reduce the life span of the internal battery.
- Recharge the powerbank only at room temperature.
