1. Description:

The electric coffee grinder by ROTEX is designed to grind coffee beans efficiently for your brewing needs.

2. Steps to Use the Coffee Grinder:

  1. Ensure the coffee grinder lid is securely closed.
  2. Pour coffee beans into the container up to the MAX mark.
  3. Close the lid securely making sure the lid guides (A) align with the body block (B).
  4. Connect the grinder to an electrical outlet.
  5. Press and hold the lid of the grinder while it’s in operation. Release the lid to stop the grinder.
  6. Adjust the grinding level based on your brewing method:
    • Fine – for manual drip coffee brewing.
    • Medium/Fine – for French press brewing.
    • Coarse – for brewing with a coffee pot.
  7. Operate the grinder continuously for a maximum of 30 seconds. Allow a cooling period of 2-3 minutes before reusing.

USE FOR THE INTENDED PURPOSE

The coffee grinder is designed to process a small volume of products: coffee beans, sugar, cereals, spices. The appliance must be used only as described in the operating instructions.Warning. If you grind food and grind coffee in the same cup, the coffee may acquire an off-flavor and odor. For example, after grinding spices, essential oils will remain in the cup and transfer their flavor to the coffee beans. Recommendation: Wipe the cup thoroughly after use.

BEFORE FIRST USE

After transporting or storing the appliance at low temperatures, allow it to come to room temperature for at least three hours. Carefully remove the appliance from the box, remove all packaging materials and advertising stickers. Wipe the body of the device. Before using the appliance for the first time, check that there are no foreign objects inside. Wipe the bowl, knives, and lid with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.
WARNING. The cutting blades of the coffee grinder are sharp and can be dangerous. Handle them with care

OPERATION

Place the grinder on a flat, hard, horizontal surface. Open the grinder lid. Pour coffee into the grinder cup to the MAX mark. Close the lid.
Important: Make sure that the lid guides (A) are in the unit guides (B). The grinder will only start working if the lid is correctly fitted. Connect the grinder to the mains. While holding the grinder, press and hold the grinder lid. Release the lid and the grinder will stop. Disconnect the grinder from the power supply. Open the grinder lid (1). For optimal results, grind your beans/foods in pulse mode. This will allowyou to better control the degree of grinding of the beans. Below you will find some recommendations for using different grinds of coffee powder. Please note that these are only average values. Variations are possible, for example, depending on the type and degree of roast of the coffee beans. Fine – for espresso machines. Fine/medium – for a coffee machine. Medium – for brewing coffee by hand through a paper filter. Medium/coarse – for a French press (piston coffee maker). Coarse – for brewing coffee in a coffee pot.

WARNING

The grinder can operate continuously for up to 30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes before restarting the grinder. The appliance is equipped with sharp knives. Caution. Do not connect the appliance to the mains until it is fully assembled. To avoid the risk of electric shock or fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not kink the power cord or wrap it around the appliance. Do not fill the grinder to the brim, only up to the Max mark.

CLEANING

Wipe the grinder with a cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents for cleaning. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other cleaning liquids!

STORAGE

Clean the appliance and dry it thoroughly before storing it for a long time. Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and people with disabilities.

The warranty must be fully completed and delivered along with the receipt or delivery docket for the effective exercise of rights under this warranty.
