Avoid the risk of fatal iniury from electric shock
- Check the lamp for possible damage before every use. Never use the lamp if it shows any signs of damage.
- WARNING! A damaged lamp means the danger of death from electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the lamp, please contact the service center or an electrician.
- To avoid hazards, if the external flexible lead on this lamp is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service representative or an equivalent professional! .
- Ensure before use that the available mains voltage is the same as the voltage required for operating the lamp.
- Never allow the lamp to come into contact with water or other liquids.
- Never open any of the electrical equipment or insert objects into it. This will pose the risk of fatal injury from electric shock.
- The illuminant is not replaceable.
- To avoid hazards, if the illuminant is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service representative or an equivalent professional.
- This lamp is not suitable for dimmers or electronic switches.
Preventing fire and injury hazards
- Do not look directly into the light source (illuminant, LED, etc.).
- To prevent burns, be sure the lamp is switched off and cooled down before touching it. illuminants become very hot.
- Do not cover the lamp with objects. Excessive heat build-up can result in fire.
- Do not leave the lamp unattended.
For your safety
- Install the lamp so that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
- Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense.
- Never install the lamp if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.
Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN!
Swallowing batteries can cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and
death. Severe burns may oc cur within 2 hours of swallowing batteries. Seek
immediate medical attention.

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire, or bursting can be the result. -
Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into the tire or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads on batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/ direct sunlight.

If batteries/ rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. -
In the event of a leakage of batteries/ rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries/ rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries/ rechargeable batteries.

Remove batteries/ rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.
Risk of damage to the product
- Only use the specified type of battery/ rechargeable battery!
- Insert batteries/ rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery/rechargeable battery and the product.
- Clean the contacts on the battery/ rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the product immediately.
- This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced. When disposing of the product, you must indicate this product contains a rechargeable battery.
Set-up
Note: Remove all packaging material from the product.
- Place the lamp on a flat surface with its backside facing you. You have the option of using the lamp battery-operated or USB operated:
Battery operation:
- Remove the insulating stripes from the battery compartment 15 on the reverse side of the lamp before first use. A melody will sound.
USB Operation:
- Charge the lamp before first use by inserting one end of the USB cable into USB port 5 and inserting the other end of the USB cable into the USB interface on the computer or a USB adapter.
Adjusting the lamp
Note: Only change the alignment of the lam when it’s switched off. You can adjust the lamp: to the lighting conditions you require.
- Move the lamp arm 6 at an angle of 180 (see Fig. B).
Switching the lamp on/off and dimming
- Switch the lamp on or off using the ON/OFF button 3 on the lamp base 4. All you need to do here is press it with your finger (touch button).
- You can dim the lamp in three stages. The brightest stage is activated automatically when you switch on the lamp. You can dim the brightness using the ON/OFF button 3on the lamp base 4.
Switching the LC display on/off
Switch the lighting on the LC display on and off using the ON/OFF button 2 on
the lamp base 4. All you need to do here is press it with your finger (touch
button).
Functions

Displays time, date, week, temperature; 12/24 hour format (AM = morning, PM= evening -
Alarm/snooze mode:
Set the alarm time and select alarm signals; the snooze function can also be operated at the same time -
Birthday reminder mode:
Set the time and date of a birthday a song will play on the selected day -
Timer mode: Set time will be counted down

Automatic display of the current temperature: using the set button [12 you can select either °C or °F
Settings
- Press the mode button 11 to switch between different functions:
Note: If no button has been pressed for one minute, LC display 1 returns to the output format.
Time mode/ 12/24 hour clock

Press the mode button 11 to configure the l 2/24 hour format.

Press the set button 12 to set the desired format using the up button 13 or down button 14.

Press the set button 12 once more to confirm your entry. Enter the information in the following order:

The following adjustment range is available:
Years between 2008 and 2099, months between 1 and 12, days between 1 and 31, hours between 1 and 12 or 0 and 23, minutes between 0 and 59. When setting the hours and minutes the seconds are automatically deleted. The week will change automatically when the date has been set. -
Press the mode button 11 in the output format to configure the 12/24 hour format. Press the up button 13 or down button 14 to set the desired format.
Alarm/snooze mode

Press the up button 13 in the output format to activate the snooze function. Press the up button 13 again to deactivate the snooze function.

Press the mode button 11 twice in the output format to configure the alarm/snooze mode.

Press the set button 12 to set the desired time and alarm melody or alarm tone using the up button 13 or down button 14.
Note: You have the option of switching between 7 alarm melodies and 2 alarm tones. -
Press the set button 12 again to confirm your entry. Enter the information in the following order:
- Hours = > minutes = > music

When the alarm sounds press any button to end the alarm. If the snooze function has been activated, then the alarm will sound four times and the snooze display will flash in the LC display 1. Press the up button 13 to deactivate the snooze function. The snooze display will disappear.

Press the mode button twice in the output format to configure the alarm/snooze mode.

Press the set button 12 twice to deactivate the alarm.
Birthday reminder mode

Press the mode button 11 three times in the output format to configure the birthday reminder mode.

Press the set button 12 to set the desired date using the up button 13 or down button 14.
-
Press the set button 12 again to confirm your entry.
Enter the information in the following order:
hour = > minute = > year = > month = > day -
On the birthday Happy Birthday” will be played for 5 minutes. You can stop the playback of the song by pressing any button.
Timer mode

Press the mode button 11 four times in the output format to configure the timer mode.

Press the set button 12 to set the desired time using the up button 13 or down button 14.

Press the set button 12 again to confirm your entry. The timer will begin (countdown from the set time).
Enter the information in the following order:
hour = > minute = > time interval -
The following adjustment range is available: hours between 0 and 23 and minutes between 0 and 59.

When the set time has expired, a melody will sound. To end the melody press any button.
Temperature mode
- Press the set button 12 in the output format to switch between ° C and ° F.
Music playback
- Press the down button 14 in the output format to play back music. You can choose between seven songs.
Changing the battery
- Open battery compartment 15 by turning the battery cap anticlockwise using a coin.
- Remove the old battery and replace this with a new battery (see, Technical Data”). Please note the polarity when inserting the battery. This is indicated in the battery compartment 15. A melody will sound. To end the melody press any button.
- Turn the battery cap clockwise onto the battery compartment 15 using a coin to close it.
Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For electrical safety, never clean the lamp with water or other liquids, nor
immerse it in water.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS!
Allow the lamp to cool down completely.
- Do not use solvents, petrol, etc. Otherwise, the lamp will be damaged.
- Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
- Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abb deviations (al and numbers (bl with the following meaning: l-7: plastics/ 20-22: paper and fibreboard/ 80-98: composite materials.
- The product and packaging materials are recyclable and disposed of them separately or with better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.
- Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details on how to dispose of your worn-out product.
- To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
- Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled by Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or the product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage through incurred disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!
Batteries/ rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual
domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for
heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
