Turn Bluetooth® On / Off – Windows® 8

 Notes:

  • If your device is not running Windows 8, refer to Windows 10 for further instruction.
  • When Bluetooth is turned on, the device is automatically made discoverable and searches for Bluetooth devices within range.
  1. From the right edge of the screen, swipe left to display the charms menu.
     If using a mouse, move the pointer to the upper or lower-right corner of the Start screen then move up/down.
     Alternatively, press the  Windows + C keys  (  +C) located on the physical keyboard (if available).

  2. Tap or click  Settings.

  3. Tap or click  Change PC settings  (located in the lower-right).

  4. From the left-pane, tap or click  PC and devices.
     If not available, tap or click the  Back icon    (located in the upper- left) as necessary until “PC settings” appears in the upper-left.

  5. From the left-pane, tap  Bluetooth.

  6. Tap or click the  Bluetooth switch  to turn on   or off  .
