- WARNING: Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- WARNING: A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure (altitudes above 6500 ft. [2000 m]) may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Exceeding the operating or storage temperatures stated in the specifications could result in damage to your battery pack.
CHARGING YOUR BATTERY PACK
-
Plug in the USB Type-C charging cable (included) into a USB wall charger (not included).
Note: For optimal charging speed, use the Nintendo Switch Lite’s AC adapter (not included). Using a charger without the Power Delivery feature may result in charging times over five hours. -
Plug the small end of the cable into the USB Type-C port on the side of the battery pack.
The LED indicator light should start blinking to indicate it is charging. Each LED represents 33% of the battery charge. When all lights are on and not blinking, it is fully charged.
Note: The indicator light only indicates the battery pack’s charge level. If you want to check the battery level of the Switch Lite, check the built-in charging icon on the top left of the Switch Lite screen while in the home screen.
To install the battery pack:
- Locate the two sliding switches on the back of the battery pack, then slide the locking switches to the unlock state and remove the top piece of the battery pack.
- Carefully slide your Switch Lite onto the battery pack. Make sure that you have the USB Type-C port lined up properly to the Switch Lite charging port.
- Replace the top piece of the battery pack, then slide the locking switches to the locked state.
CHARGING YOUR SWITCH LITE WITH THE BATTERY PACK
- Press the power button on the side of the battery pack once to start charging. To turn off the battery pack when it is installed, press and hold the power button for three seconds.
Note: The battery pack automatically stops charging after the console is
fully
charged.
Note: You can charge your Switch Lite and battery pack at the same time using an AC adapter or wall charger. Don’t try to charge your Switch Lite and battery pack by using a USB charging cable connected to your computer or tablet.
