Getting started
- Pull the non-elastic strap around mat back and fasten it to its supporter.
- To use massage mat at home, connect the AC adapter output (voltage: +12V 1A) male-plug with the female-plug on the back of the mat. Then plug the AC adapter into a wall socket (voltage: 120V/60Hz).
- Lie comfortably on the mat and use the hand controller to select the desired functions.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the mat with plastic fasteners during installation.
Heat
Press the “HEAT” button to turn the heat function on or off. A built-in
thermostat is to control the temperature within a safe range.
Note: This product uses a warming heat as shown. It is not intended to be
used as a therapeutic heating pad. Please allow a few minutes to reach maximum
temperature. Mat reaches maximum temperature of 140F after approx. 7 minutes.
Built-in Timer
The cushion has a built-in timer that deactivates the cushion after 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of use please wait 15 minutes and simply turn cushion on again.
Massage
Each massage area may be selected separately.
- Heat option soothes tired muscles.
- Use heat with or without massage.
- For use at home.
- Select high, medium or low intensity.
Safety Instructions
- Always unplug cushion from the power source after using, and before cleaning.
- Keep dry – do not operate in moist or wet conditions.
- Do not reach for the cushion if it has fallen into water – Unplug IMMEDIATELY.
- This appliance must never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from power source when not in use or when taking off or putting on attachments.
- Use only the attachments and adapter(s) provided with this unit.
- Never operate the unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
- Do not operate under a blanket, pillow or other covering. Excessive heating can cause fire, electrical shock or injury.
- Before disconnecting from power source, make sure all functions have been stopped.
- Do not use where aerosol (spray) products or the administration of oxygen is being used.
- Do not carry this item by the power supply cord as a handle.
- If you have any concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product.
- If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.
- Do not use the massage motors or heat for longer than 30 minutes. Extensive use could lead the product to becoming excessively hot. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool down before operating. Disconnect appliance from power source when not in use.
- This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
- Avoid creasing the appliance.
- Do not insert pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
- Do not use with helpless person, an infant or a person insensitive to heat.
Clean
- Disconnect from power source before cleaning.
- Do NOT place in any liquid to clean. Clean fabric cover by wiping with a damp sponge, using a mild detergent or suds. Pat dry with clean, dry cloth.
- Do NOT use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass or furniture polish, paint thinner or water hotter than 120°F to clean the unit.
Store
Place the unit in its box, or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects that might cut or puncture the fabric. Do not wrap power cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
Warranty
Comfort Products warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year. This warranty is made by Comfort Products only to the original end-user customer acquiring the product directly from Comfort Product’s authorized dealers as shown by the original sales receipt. Any problems arising from misuse, attempts to repair, dropping or extreme wear are not covered by this warranty.
