Product Usage Instructions

• Accessing Data Studio Football
  • Log in to Venus Control Suite.
  • Select an account.
  • Click Data Studio Football from the My Apps menu.

  • Providers are essential for managing data feeds. Here’s how to create, edit, and delete providers:
• Create a Provider
  • Click Configure Provider and select a provider or add a new one.
  • Configure the provider details as required.
• Edit a Provider
  • Select the provider from the list.
  • Update the necessary information and save.
• Delete a Provider
  • Select the provider to delete.
  • Confirm the deletion in the popup (Note: This action is irreversible).

This guide is designed to help Venus Control Suite (VCS) customers operate the Data Studio Football app. Data Studio Football is used to manage football data feeds through the use of providers and outputs. Playing the games and replays populates game, team, and player stats inside of Data Studio.

Accessing Data Studio Football

1. Log in to Venus Control Suite.
2. Select an account.
3. Click Data Studio Football from the My Apps menu. Refer to Figure 1. ****

Providers

Providers are a collection of data distributed by unique organizations composed of games, stats, and replays. Data Studio Football will prompt the creation of a Provider on the first launch; a Provider is required to use the software.

Create a Provider

1. Click Configure Provider and select Genius Sports (NCAA) from the launch screen, or navigate to the Provider tab, click Add New, and select Genius Sports (NCAA). Refer to Figure 2.
2. Configure the Provider as shown in Figure 3.
   • a. Enter a Title for the provider.
   • b. Select a Venue from the drop-down menu.
   • c. Select a Team from the drop-down menu.
   • d. Click Save to finish configuration.

• Edit a Provider

1. Select a provider from the Providers tab.
2. Edit the Title, Venue, or Team, and then click Save to confirm. Refer to Figure 3.

• Delete a Provider

1. Select a provider from the Providers tab.
2. Click .
3. Click Confirm on the popup to delete the provider.
  *  **Note:** This process cannot be undone.

Outputs

Outputs are digital channels where media can be scheduled. Once scheduled, the outputs will play media from the providers.

Create an Output

1. Navigate to the Outputs tab. Refer to Figure 4.
2. Click Add New.
3. Configure the Output as shown in Figure 5.
   • a. Enter a Title for the output in the output configuration menu.
   • b. Select a Provider Type from the drop-down menu.
   • c. Select a Provider from the drop-down menu.
   • Note: This drop-down menu is populated by providers created in the Providers tab.
4. Click Save to finish the configuration.

Edit an Output

1. Select an output from the Outputs tab.
2. Edit the Title, Provider Type, or Provider, and then click Save to confirm. Refer to Figure 5.

Delete an Output

1. Select an output from the Output tab.
2. Click .
3. Click Confirm on the popup to delete.
   • Note: This process cannot be undone.

Stats Dashboard

The Stats Dashboard is where media provided by the provider is scheduled to outputs. Once scheduled, it is used to control the media. The media can either be current games or replays of past games. The Stats Dashboard lists Recent and Upcoming Games, and is also used to quickly edit outputs.

Scheduling Media
Follow these steps to schedule a game or replay:

1. Navigate to the Stats Dashboard. Refer to Figure 6.
2. Click on the output panel, and then click Start Replay. Refer to Figure 7.
3. Select a Season, Game, and Speed. Refer to Figure 8.
4. Click Confirm to begin the replay.

Controlling Media
Once a replay or game has been added to an output, the output can be controlled from the Stats Dashboard.

The following is an overview of the controller features:

• – Click to play the content.
• – Click to pause the content.
• – Click to stop and remove the content.
• – Select a playback speed.
• – Click and select a quarter to jump to that point in the playback.

Edit an Output from the Stats Dashboard

1. Navigate to the Stats Dashboard. Refer to Figure 10.
2. Click on the output panel and click Edit Output. Refer to Figure 11.
3. Edit the Title or select a different Provider. Refer to Figure 12.
4. Click Confirm to update the output.
