HYGGER AQUARIUM TEST STRIPS
Please read this manual carefully and follow the instructions.
User Guide
- Water test strips are made for both qualitative and semi qualitative water quality testing. It can test totally 8 elements in water: Nitrite (No2), Nitrate (NO3), PH, GH (General Hardness), KH (Carbonate Hardness), Chlorine, Alkalinity.
- Refer to the box or the bottle label for the specific test parameters of the product that you are using. Please read the directions carefully before using.
- The results on the strips can be interpreted by referring to the test parameter or by using a instrument.
TESTING CONDITIONS AND RANGES
Test your sample at ambient temperature between 2°C -30° C, and relative humidity of 80%. It can be used to test drinking water, pool, Spa, ponds, aquarium and industrial waste water, etc.
IMPORTANT STORAGE INSTRUG IONS
Proper storage and handling procedures must be followed to avoid deterioration of the product during storage and handling. Store it in a dry place, and keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture. Always keep the cap tight on your strip container between uses and always leave desiccant in the bottle. Do not touch any areas of the test pad of the reagent strips. Do not drink the water sample that the strip was immersed in. Use strips before the expiry date. Discard the water sample properly.
INSTRUCTION
- Please follow these instructions to ensure that you obtain proper results. Collect water sample to be tested in a vial, cup or container.
- Immerse the test strip in the designated water sample and remove it within 2 seconds.
- Hold the strip horizontally and gently tap or shake to remove excess water. Take extra precaution to ensure that the water from the test pads don’t bleed into each other.
- Read the test results carefully within 30 seconds in a bright light and hold the test area close to the color chart on have passed are of no significance. Changes in color that appear along the edges of the test pads or 2 minutes after moving from the test water are of no significance.
