Description| Perle IDS-108GE Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switches are
designed for easy deployment in industrial environments with harsh
operating conditions and limited space. They are suitable for
industrial automation, infrastructure, transportation, security,
oil and gas, and mining applications. These unmanaged switches
provide essential industrial Ethernet networking functionality and
can withstand extreme temperatures, surges, vibrations, and
shocks.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Mounting: The IDS-108GE switches are DIN rail mountable. A mounting kit is included for easy installation.
2. Power Input: Connect the dual power input using the provided 7-pin removable terminal block. The switches support 12/24/48VDC (9-55VDC) power input.
3. Network Connection: Connect your network devices to the 8 x RJ45 ports using Ethernet cables. The switches support 10/100/1000Base-T and auto-negotiation for convenient setup.
4. Power LED Indicators: Check the power LED indicators to ensure proper power supply. Power LED 1 and Power LED 2 should be green when power is applied.
5. Link and Activity Indicators: The RJ45 / SFP Ethernet LEDs indicate link status and activity. A solid green LED indicates an established link, while a blinking green LED indicates activity.

to stand up to extreme temperatures, surges, vibrations, and shocks found in industrial automation, infrastructure, transportation, security, oil and gas, and mining the IDS-
108GE Switches are economical easy-to-use devices, that provide essential industrial Ethernet networking functionality.

These unmanaged switches support 9 to 55VDC redundant power input and provide a relay alarm for power failure. The full/half-duplex auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX operation simplifies installation and setup for convenient connection of a variety of network devices. And, QoS support allows for traffic prioritization and effective management of resources.
For automation and industrial control systems using Ether Net/IP or PROFINET, these rugged, DIN rail mountable switches with metal housing provides security and easy installation (mounting kit is included).
