Remember to keep a written record of all important information.

Battery Safety and Precautions
  • For better performance and longer battery life, it is recommended that you charge the battery fully before using the mobile phone for the first time.
  • The optimum performance of a new battery is typically achieved after two or three complete charge cycles. Note: Keep in mind that continuous overcharging will affect long-term battery life.
  • While charging, keep the mobile phone out the reach of children.
  • Store the battery in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight and water.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures (below -8° C (18° F) or above 43° C (110° F).
  • Immediately stop using the battery if it produces an odor, cracks and leaks, overheats, distorts or has any other type of physical damage.
  • Avoid using the charger near or around liquids. If the charger comes in contact with water or any liquids, immediately unplug it from the outlet to reduce the risk of overheating, charger malfunction, electric shock or fire.

Warning: Please be careful with the disposal of used batteries. Do not throw away batteries with daily waste. Please follow local environmental laws and guidelines for proper waste disposal.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Avoid using the handset and accessories in excessively moist areas to avoid malfunction.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the handset, battery and charger.
  • Do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene or any other solvent to clean the handset.

  • To check your IMEI, press *#06#.

RF Exposure lnformation(SAR)
This device meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency(RF) energy. The exposure standard for wireless devices employs a unit of measurement known as Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/Kg.For body-worn operation,this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal and positions the device a minimum of 1.0 cm from the body.RF exposure compliance with any body-worn accessory that contains metal was not tested and certified,and use of such body-worn accessory should be avoided. Any accessory used with this device for body-worn operation must keep the device a minimum of 1.0 cm away from the body.

Power On/ Off

Used to power on/off the device and to lock the screen.

  • Long press the power button to power on
  • While the phone is powered on, long press to access the power off menu or click to lock the screen

Volume

Adjusts the ringer volume, call volume, and multimedia volume.

Home

The home button pauses any current action and returns to the home screen.

Menu

Opens a list of recently opened applications that allows you to switch conveniently between them.
This option can also close any open applications by swiping to the side.

Back

Returns to the previous screen; Closes the keyboard, any open program, or any menu option.

USB Port

Charges the device and transfers data such as documents, music, and video between your device and a PC.

Headset Port

Connect earphones to this port for hands-free capabilities. You may also listen to music or FM radio.

Front Camera

A high-resolution front camera to take pictures and video. This option is ideal for self-portraits.

Rear Camera

High resolution rear camera to take pictures and video.

Rear Camera (Macro)

Take highly detailed photos at a close distance to your subject.

Rear Camera ( ultra-wide angle)

Get a wider field of view when taking photos.

Flash

Provides light for pictures in low-light conditions. It also may be used as a flashlight (Rear).

Fingerprint sensor

Security measure that unlocks your device with the User’s fingerprints.

LED indicator

Showing the battery charging status, or event notification.

Introduction

Installation of the SIM Card

Warning: Please keep the SIM card out of the reach of children. The SIM card and its contact are easily damaged due to scratching or bending. Please use caution when carrying, installing or taking out the SIM card. NB: Please contact your cellular phone service provider directly to obtain your SIM card.

To insert SIM card:

  1. Remove the card Insert the SIM card.
  2. Insert the SD (For additional storage capacity) 3.lnsert card slot, and power on phone.
Power On and Off

On – Please ensure the SIM card has been properly inserted into the phone. Long press the Power key to switch the phone on.

Off – In standby mode, long press on Power key until an options menu appears.

Select Power Off in the menu and confirm in the pop-up prompt to switch off the phone.

Security

You may set a security lock feature as a security measure for the phone. For further information regarding password locks, password revision and other functions please enter into the security option in system settings.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS CONVEYED BY LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE OR STATE. INDEED, IN SOME COUNTRIES, PROVINCES OR STATES, CONSUMER LAW MAY IMPOSE A MINIMUM WARRANTY PERIOD, OTHER THAN AS PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEYOND DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE. FOR A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RIGHTS WE INVITE YOU TO CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE OR STATE.

This contractual Warranty applies only to the hardware components of FreeYond Product (hereafter “Product’) as originally supplied and does not apply to any software or other equipment that are owned by FreeYond or third parties for which an end-user license agreement or separate warranty/guarantee statements or exclusions are provided or intended to apply.

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

FreeYond warrants the original purchaser that your FreeYond Product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Except otherwise provided by applicable law, the warranty lasts and is provided for one (1) year for host unit, six (6) months for removable

battery and charger, one (1) year for irremovable battery, three (3) months for Earphone if applicable from the date of purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing clause, FreeYond does not exclude, limit or suspend the minimum legal warranty period imposed by applicable law. FreeYond does not warrant the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.

REMEDIES

If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received by FreeYond within the Warranty Period, FreeYond will either (1) repair the Product at no charge, use new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) replace the Product with a new or refurbished product, or (3) refund the Product, excluding potential shipping costs.

In the event of a defect, to the fullest extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law.

Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

In accordance with applicable law, FreeYond may require the customer to furnish proof of purchase details and warranty card with IMEI of the Product. It is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the product. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service, and FreeYond will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

Unless otherwise stipulated by FreeYond, this Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured by or for FreeYond, that can be identified by the “FreeYond” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it.

The Limited Warranty does not apply to any: (a) Damage due to acts of nature or God, for example,lightning strikes, tornadoes flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (b) Negligence; (c) Commercial use; (d) Alterations or modifications to any part of the Product; (e) Damage caused by use with non- FreeYond products; (f) Damage caused by accident, abuse, or misuse; (g) Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by FreeYond or with improper voltage or power supply; (h) Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of FreeYond or (i) failure to follow instructions relating to the Product’s usage.

Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty. No FreeYond reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or Impaired.

Except as prohibited by laws or otherwise promised by FreeYond, the after- sales services shall be limited to the country or region of the original purchase.

Products which were not duly imported and/or were not duly manufactured by FreeYond and/or were not duly acquired from FreeYond or a FreeYond ‘s official seller are not covered by the present warranties. As per applicable law you may benefit from warranties from the non-official retailer who sold the product.

Therefore, FreeYond invites you to contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product. The present warranties do not apply in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES

Except prohibited by applicable law, all implied warranties (including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) shalt be limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

Except prohibited by applicable law, FreeYond shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue or data, damages resulting from any breach of express or implied warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, even when FreeYond has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
